Love your reaction! Our maknae line is also our rap line everyone is always surprised by it! Jooheon, Hyungwon, and I.M produce most of their songs. If you think these songs are spicy their b-sides are even spicier lol. Jooheon has a few solo mix tapes, kihyun (the main vocal, probably one of the best in Kpop in my opinion) has a solo album too. Gambler is another song you should check out and their English songs!

Monsta X are known as the man group of kpop for a reason! Most of their fandom are grown. Their music is incredible! They are actually super diverse, so not everything is dark, I think you're going to love them
Welcome to the world of Monbebe! I’ll be seeing them on the 4th! But yes Joohoney has had a hand in so many of their songs. He’s ranked 8th of idols with song credits at 148. I.M ranks 12th I think as he makes a lot of their music too. Shownu, our beloved leader, is doing his military service. If you wanna see their real rapping skills watch their performance of Sambakja, or Triple Rhythm. They did it for a tour so there’s no studio version.
Also I.M makes sexy songs. Examples are Rotate and Monsta Truck.

Yeah, God Damn is actually super sad (although most people cant see past the sexy scenes to understand what he's singing about, aka loneliness, temporary happiness and the duality of it)
Actually he couldn't make a physical album or promote this title track because it was explicit and 19+ hahaha but he still wanted to go for it
his album Duality essentially just contains his deepest thoughts and feelings, and tackles the idea of emotional duality that he striggles a lot with

let me put you on their title track gambler, they’re not called the men of kpop for nothing. they’ve shifted a lot recently to mature themes, with joohoney producing most of their title tracks and b sides now. you can check out sambakja/triple rhythm since you’re rap like biased! sadly there isn’t a studio version. but i would suggest checking out shoot out, gambler, follow, play it cool ft. steve aoki, and their b sides when you have the chance!

"Who Do U Love", "Middle of The Night", "Someone's Someone" and "You Can't Hold My Heart" are songs from that album that has a Music Video. The Second Album was "The Dreaming" which released last December. "One Day" and "You Problem" are songs from that album that has a Music Video. I also recommend you to watch their group guide and individual members guide by chaena to know more about them. 😃❤
