Banjaratma Sugar Mill Tour, Central Java, Indonesia 1995

Banjaratma closed at the end of the 1997 season, hence there is no coverage from me. When Ray Gardiner pitched up in 1995 he was offered a tour of the mill which he gratefully accepted. However, for some reason it seems not to have included the mill line which is most unfortunate. Still, I doubt there is any other video record of this mill at work.
This video is the work of the late Ray Gardiner, recorded in pre-digital days, hence not of the usual quality of this series. John Raby - / johnraby - has helped by applying some enhancements to the original material.

Sekarang bekas pabrik gula tersebut sudah berganti dimanfaatkan menjadi Rest Area jalan Tol.

Jadi kangen jaman dulu pada masa Pabrik masih jaya. Sekarang tinggal kenangan, dan rumah lojinya aja udah hancur ditumbuhi ilalang dan pohon gede. Padahal klo msih utuh itu bangunan bisa jadi cagar budaya. Tapi apa mau dikata 😢
