Shankaracharya from kerala , Madhvacharya from Karnataka and Ramanujacharya from Tamil Nadu . The rivival of Hindu dharma started from
South and ended in Nepal post which Shankaracharya took samadi in Himalayas .

Lxqin I know India is diverse and South India has its unique flavour in its traditions across sections of caste creed and religions . Whose denying that ? Also being a Hindu itself is very diverse in itself , as a Hindu in every city and district you have different traditions even though the basic structure and essence is same .
But the speaker here is very specific about Hindu traditions in South Indian films and That is his / her opinion by what she has observed. I guess That is what she liked personally and particularly. That does not mean there are no other traditions and they are not depicted in these films .

Don't recommend them to watch the movie guys, if they didn't like the first one, they won't be impressed by the second one either, and we should not be bothered by that, everyone have their choices. What matters is that we Indians connect to the movie because of the sentiments and how grand the movie was. Illogical things happen both in Bollywood and Hollywood. What matters is what people can connect to. They can connect with Spidermam even if it is as illogical as a spider biting someone and genetically changing them, we can connect with Baahubali even if it is as illogical as a group of people catapulting themselves to the top of the castle, the connect matters at the end, and that's okay. Don't force them.

Lol that sounded really passive aggressive. You still took a jab at them for not liking Bahubali, by talking about Spiderman's illogical stuff even though they never mentioned Bahubali being illogical in the video. This means your yourself have this guilt about the movie lol. Spiderman's and Bahubali's logics are very different. The Spiderman comic world has had these high IQ scientists, radioactive spiders, other worldly elements, technology, etc, since decades, ever since the first Spiderman edition came out and they've always given proper explanations for all such things happening in the world. They mentioned that the spider became radioactive before biting, or Dr. Octavious was a genius scientist, etc. So we believe it. Similarly, in Bahubali, they told us that Bahubali had unnatural powers, so we believed it and didn't question it. But the problem comes when a bunch of normal people wrap themselves and catapult across a kingdom with a banana tree lol. These people don't have superpowers so how are they doing it? This should've been explained in the story. That makes it illogical.
Imagine if Batman suddenly started throwing spider webs in a movie without any explanations. American public would find that very illogical as well even though it's a Batman movie. They should've talked about the flying powers of these special group of soldiers in the first half of the movie and should've cleared it that they can't hurt themselves while landing like Wolverine. Then it would've been fine. You have to explain your characters and be clear about your world even in a supernatural movie.
Plus there's physics. Even though Spiderman and Batman are supernatural, the movies still follow the physics. In Batman, he jumps from a height gliding downwards. His vehicles, all tumble according to physics. In Spiderman, his swinging mechanics are physically accurate. They've explained that the element of Spiderman's web is strong enough to handle such tension. Superman flies because he's accustomed to another planets gravity, Krissh jumps high with Jadoo's power. It's okay, all explained. But in Bahubali, a random Suresh flying across the map by a banana tree and landing without a jerk without any explanations is funny lol.

Also they rely heavily on sentiments, Indian audiences are familiar with this but Americans might miss the subtle nuances.
This movie treats the women better than the first movie.

What you don't know is that inspite of some of the bad cgi, Bahubali 1 n later Bahubali 2 are probably the reasons, all of you foreign reacting channels exist. Every foreign reacting channel took root in the movie Bahubali 1 n also while reacting to its songs and fighting sequences. For the money the movie had, it was a beautiful film n though it does have bad cgi, for the entire film industry in India, it's an iconic film n so is the second one which is bigger and better. You will still get to see some noticeable bad cgi but it should be seen especially if you are serious movie goers concentrating on Indian movies. Both movies make sense seen one after another. For what was required in both movies, the acting was fine🙏💟Happy Gokulashtami 🌹

The reason that no one recommended to watch it is because they don't need a review for a film that's been watched more than any other film....
Well, the CG in Baahubali-1 was light years ahead of anything that existed in Indian cinema at the time. Barring few things like animals, I would say they did a pretty decent job. When you are comparing with Hollywood blockbusters you are judging it aganist an implausibly high standard.
Baahubali-1 was produced at a fraction of the budget of a Hollywood tentpole ($30M vs. $230M). And what they have achieved for such a meagre budget is quite extraordinary. When I have to compare, I would say the CG of the film is amongst the best work done outside the major hollywood studio system. And yes, there was an increase of 33% ($10M) in the budget for the second film over the first one.
By the way part 2 is way better than 1. Bigger budget better cgi

Most indian movies don't have much CGI. We focus more on the story and the acting rather than technology. You have to watch both movies continuously to truly understand what is going on. We won't say this one is better than the other but Bahubali 2 has better CGI and other techniques. The culture references.. are numerous. Good luck finding references for them.

@@OURSTUPIDREACTIONS I think its a difference of the cinematic language. Just watching your Vada Chennai review and saw Rick say that he didn't find Dhanush anything out of the ordinary.
South Indian commercial cinema and the acting involved is very different, maybe it might take you watching a few more SI movies to get a feel for it. Or, maybe its just not for you. Dhanush is great at what he does. So is Prabhas. Maybe its just, not for you. Especially because you're actors and you like a specific kind of acting / film making.

I have seen lot of comments saying 2 was way better, i agree that it is definitely better in terms of everything but still CGI is decent better than 1st one but still not impressive,so keep that in mind before watching it. Overall budget is more and just like rick said 2 nd one will be a better cinematic experience and story is also great. So id say if you would watch it with these things in mind and not expect too much, you'll have a better experience than the 1st one.

Budget difference? Entire profit from Baahubali 1 was used to finish the shoot and CGI of Baahubali 2. ( Out of 5 years the first 3 years was spent to Baahubali 2 . Then the last 2 years was the time they shot Baahubali 1 )
Every Indian movie is related to its present, past and culture. That's why we don't get Oscar for most of the movies. So, study Indian culture and mythological stories first.

There's a difference between a bad movie and technical constraints. The Baahubali series dont have Lord of The Rings CGI level Baahubali 2.....but the movies in itself are very good. The cultural difference does make it worse.

Bahubali 2 is the first ever Pan-India movie in Indian film-making scene.
Not just because of the reach it got throughout the nation, but because of the way it was made with respect to the cultural aspects conveyed in the movie and the story that was told. This is why it got as big as it did at the box office.

@@anjalibhatia2031 see like they have seen many bollywood movies . But they think that south industry is small so they have to see this big budget movies so that they think we are also upto the level of bollywood or more than that
@@akhilnair777 even in bollywood they watch only noticeable movies.. they watch many web series which I dont count coz I dont watch those web series reactions.. its not like they watch every other bollywood movie.. they select only those good movies which are recommended by subscribers.. same with south movies..
But I was saying that they react to a lot of random south videos which I never watch.. not because I dont like south cinema.. i do like it but not everything, same as I dont like everything in bollywood. All I can say is they are not partial.

Actually there is- right towards the end of the song - at 5:24 in this video. Some names of Lord Krishna are sung here - Aniruddha, Madhava, Manmohana, Madhusudhana among others.

Even I was taken aback by Korbin's claim and it took me a while to recall that 'Krishna' was actually used in the song once.
Dear reactors . I would suggest you dig out some good songs on your own for reaction. People go to every channel and make them react on the same stuff. Be unique like you are when you react on thillanas, classical songs, old Malayalam songs and other things not found in other channels. It will be surely more appealing.

The part 2 is really good. U will come to know y Bahubali was killed by Kattapa...Again this song has been edited due to the movie duration. The duration of the part 2 is 2 hours 44 minutes.
when you say that americans are gonna think that indians are light years behind us, clearly they are not knowing the budget of the films. i know that you have mentioned that factor in the video but that doesn't really matter coz the budget we get here is way too less compared to hollywood films. I'm so very sure that if an indian film gets the budget of any mediocre hollywood film, the visuals are definitely gonna blow the minds of all the living people and it'll shut everyone's mouth for once. And for god's sake stop saying it's inspired from 300 or whatever coz it doesn't make sense. It'll just sound like any american person watching any war movie other than hollywood "is inspired by 300" which sounds so ridiculous. Just see any arrow scene, credit goes to 300. C'mon man. I don't deny the fact that 300 is a great movie but we've heard enough of 300 now!
