Hey dude how can I keep or save the settings that I tweaked using developer mode? I turned off character related shaders, but I don't know if there is a way to keep those character shaders off.
7:15 heads up, the slider at the bottom of the home key dev menu adjusts the image size. It’s set to zero by default but adjust it to the right and you can see the images.

Hi, do you find out how to add more cargo spawn points? For example - I want to add more spawn points in the cargo terminal, I see a gate there - but there are no paths to them and cars do not drive there. I already understood how to add paths through objects like “invisible car path” and I understand how to work with them. But I also see some spawn/despawn points inside the building.
Thats lots of things. I always wanted to paint extra resources in my map. Just one more thing - Is there a way i can add more than one signature buildings in my city or can we copy paste signature buildings. In 1st cities skylines we had move it mod to copy paste buildings

I've used the surface painter for making a village cricket ground (picture on Steam somewhere) and today I was using the invisible roads (and paths) to create a long hedge-lined driveway (invis 1u 2-way road with sand surface painted over it, high hedge pieces lining both sides). Loads of potential (and potential to make a lovely Unity crash screenshot... ahem) Oh, I've uploaded a vid showing it if anyone's interested...
I really think that Parks in CSII should all be modular, upgradable buildings with sub-buildings and extensions. If it were up to me, there would basically be 3 parks: a small, medium, and large park. But each of these would have playgrounds, fields, restrooms, amphitheaters, picnic tables, and so forth available as extensions or sub-buildings. I made my own video a while back outlining how I think Colossal Order could modify its building upgrade and industry area mechanics to make the game a lot more expressive (closer to being on par with CS1's Parklife mechanics): th-cam.com/video/C5hGzlx79fo/w-d-xo.html

If anyone has a home button issue go to options in game. go to input and reassign the key for debug prefab tool. Set it to what ever you like. Its at the very bottom of the list.

Make sure it's not something that generates anything.. There are some props that are labeled like props but act as a randomized item or whatever and I've seen some issues with those, but no crashes.
There are a number of junk cars you can use for props. I've placed vehicles without a crash but they just drive away if they are a moving vehicle and not the junk car.
@Slay3K you didn't understand what I meant. We have nothing to work with in this FINISHED RELEASE which feels beta. Now they are admitting to this failure and extending releasing anything until someday. It blows no matter how you look at it. I guess I'll play with this mode until they get their acts together. This developer mode sucks, shouldnt exist...also anything u place its not like working or animated. So pointless . If going for looks is only what u can do. Not even beta. This is gamma test

Not sure if it's a bug.. but you need to hit the Home button to close, then you can reopen.

If you hit X on the panel, you have to reload the game. To make it come up and go away, just hit the Home key on keyboard.

I think you can see images of the items in the dev mode if you move the slider in the bottom right corner of the menu

It only shows image previews of ploppable buildings. Not every prop has a preview image yet

Don’t hit the X button. To close it, just hit the Home key on your keyboard again.

How do you close Dev without having to restart game?
Hit the button that brings up panel. So Home key or Tab key on your keyboard

Save changes in Dev mod? Should just be normal save. Although I'm not sure how to get some of the simulation changes to stay as is.

Not really. Dev mode should have additional functionality.
