अंजली बेटा, तुम इस देश की शान हो. इंडियन आयडल का मंच, तुम्हारा शुभारम्भ है और आगे तुम चलकर युवा पीढ़ी के लिये शास्त्रीय गायन की परंपरा को स्थापित करोगी. हो सकता वह दिन भी आये कि इस मंच पर तुम्हें आगे नहीं ले जा पाना इनकी विवशता हो जाये. क्योंकि यहाँ सारे निर्णय व्यापार और बाज़ार की माँग पर होते हैं. ये तुम्हारे गायन की बली चढ़ाने से भी चूकेंगे नहीं. यह आजकल जो तुम्हारे लिये हो रहे गानों के चयन से स्पष्ट दिखाई देता है. मैं यह भी नहीं कहता कि तुम केवल शास्त्रीय संगीत आधारित गायन ही करो, किंतु हल्के गायकी के उत्तम गाने भी नहीं देना या तुम्हारी प्रतिभा के सा अन्याय है. परंतु तुम इन परिणामों से ना तो निराश होना और ना ही नकारात्मक. माँ सरस्वती की कृपा, गुरूवर पिता का आशीर्वाद, स्नेहमयी माँ का साथ और हम सभी का प्यार तुम्हारे संग-साथ सदैव रहेगा....😊

I saw a similar cover of this song by Nishtha Sharma in Voice of India kids, but I liked this performance much more. Let me tell you why....In Nishtha's cover they have used electronic synthesized instruments and a guitar is used to produce the sound of the sitar artificially through an emulator. In your performance real tabla and real sitar is used, that is the beauty of these instruments, emulators can never do justice especially when the song is a classical one. Apart from this the ornamentation by the gentleman sitting...taa dik taa etc etc was a fabulous one and also the fact that u did justice to all the notes of the raga ( I guess it's bihag) with amazing accuracy.
