Jens O Sunde I honestly wish she was more popular. Shes my favorite singer. Here in the states, if it wasn't for Oblivion I would have never found out about her. I'm trying to buy her first self titled cd which is I cant find except for youtube videos.
This should have millions of views. Not fair. This is real talent! Its a crime that all those artists who cant even sing gets the attention Susanne should have had. Makes me both mad and sad.
seriously. She's crazy talented. I accidentally stumbled upon her like a month and a half ago. I was like OMG why haven I not heard of this person???!!!!!
Still after 11 years I love this song. What a great performance this is, I think it’s even better than her studio recording of the song. And she’s still making quality music. Even covers she’s able to do as good as the originals. Just listen to her version of Judee Sill’s the kiss. A beautiful song sung with a touch of Susanne Sundfør.
I love this performance so much. The fisrt song i heard from Susanne was The Brothel, but i didnt like it immediately, it took some months and then, it just engulfed me. Hope to see her live one day. I used to read the chronicles of ice and fire in 2011, 20012, listening to this, specially the north chapters.
one of the most amazing songs i've ever heard, ive never just gotten stuck for hours listening on a song on repeat like this besides when i was 14 trying to figure out those green day riffs:D Truly amazing! I wish you blizz, joy and laughter! I love you, thank you=)
Piano-voice gig was great. Piano-keyboard-drums gig was awesome. A gig with a full orchestra section plus steel pedal plus chorists would be totally insane. Santa, are you still around?
I had the privilege of seeing her live at her first show ever in Chicago. Tiniest venue I’ve ever been in. Her voice resounded through the entire place. It felt spiritual and transcendent.
Purple pavements Crooked fingers knocking on windows without souls Bodies are swinging from rooftops and poles Howling through hollows Restless nights in one-night cheap hotels Oh, am I only drifting to always come back? And now I search for something Oh, whatever, I don’t really care Driving with their lights off They can be anywhere Rolling down their windows Open card was open mouths Golden teeth and golden cards You cover your eyes You cover your mouth You cover your ears Still you follow my trail I’ll do it all, I’ll do whatever you say God has left me anyway Love I laid in pavements Stars were stains in the heaven and afterglow Beneath the ashes are echoes buried alive They are howling through hollows Once we share (shared) their temple(,) our halls Now our heads are hung up on walls And we are ruins within ruins On every corner a gladiator Is begging for another century When no one cut your tongue To know nothing and to know it all To be both the animal and god You cover your eyes You cover your mouth You cover your ears Still you follow our trail We’ll do it all, we’ll do whatever you say God has left us anyway You cover your eyes You cover your mouth You cover your ears Still you follow our trail We’ll do it all, we’ll do whatever you say God has left us anyway There are echoes in the garden, is anybody listening There are echoes lost in the garden Is anybody listening? They whisper: “The ones who are only living Are the ones who are only dying” It's a really sad song. And some more than that.
except from the great Robert Plant in the early days of led zeppelin. i still cant believe the greatness of the stairway to heaven, and the mystique arround the bands beliefs and secrets.
Men flot nummer!
@bruzwork disagree there. while the solo version with just keys is great, the musical expereince with the violins and pedal steel far outdo that version IMO
it's much better when she's alone, without all this useless pseudo-chic musical rumble in the background. check the 5:47 live video of the same track, amazing.
Thank you Norway for giving the world such a treasure!
Thank life man!
One of the best international female artists right now.

8 years on YT and still amazing! This is Susanne's signature melody!
one of the most amazing songs i've ever heard, ive never just gotten stuck for hours listening on a song on repeat like this besides when i was 14 trying to figure out those green day riffs:D Truly amazing! I wish you blizz, joy and laughter! I love you, thank you=)
Piano-voice gig was great. Piano-keyboard-drums gig was awesome. A gig with a full orchestra section plus steel pedal plus chorists would be totally insane. Santa, are you still around?
What an extraordinarily pure voice! thought she would not be good live... and I was so mistaken!
I had the privilege of seeing her live at her first show ever in Chicago. Tiniest venue I’ve ever been in. Her voice resounded through the entire place. It felt spiritual and transcendent.
7 years later, i'm working and suddenly this song pops up in my mind. Still good!
Saw her live yesterday and even if the soundquality wasn`t the best I fell in love with her music emediatly! Beautiful!!!
Truly the greatest singer/songwriter on this planet!
So soulful. Hits me right in the heart. Beautiful, and haunting.
Epic just Epic! One of the best live performances ever caught on camera. Impressed
Hope you have seen undercover because it outdid this. This was my favorite till a year ago
Beautiful voice and song. Wonderful arrangement of the music.
Stunning woman. Her music and attitude touches me so much. She is unique.
Makes me cry of joy, really...

Shared on all possible platforms... totally insane... fkin epic performance!
Beautifull performer, divine🌹
Helt otroligt bra! Så sårbart och kraftfullt. En helt unik melankolisk energi.
There has been something missing from my life for the longest time.
And I just found it.
: )
Wahnsinn ! Mir fehlen die Worte ....
Best female vocals since stevie...
Nicks?
Wonder?
no comparison... LOL. Sundfor is like 300x better
Shivers on my body:D amazing voice, great performance:D I wanna more.
EPISK!!!! Beste stemmen fra Norge!
begynner å grine vær gang
Purple pavements
Crooked fingers knocking on windows without souls
Bodies are swinging from rooftops and poles
Howling through hollows
Restless nights in one-night cheap hotels
Oh, am I only drifting to always come back?
And now I search for something
Oh, whatever, I don’t really care
Driving with their lights off
They can be anywhere
Rolling down their windows
Open card was open mouths
Golden teeth and golden cards
You cover your eyes
You cover your mouth
You cover your ears
Still you follow my trail
I’ll do it all, I’ll do whatever you say
God has left me anyway
Love I laid in pavements
Stars were stains in the heaven and afterglow
Beneath the ashes are echoes buried alive
They are howling through hollows
Once we share (shared) their temple(,) our halls
Now our heads are hung up on walls
And we are ruins within ruins
On every corner a gladiator
Is begging for another century
When no one cut your tongue
To know nothing and to know it all
To be both the animal and god
You cover your eyes
You cover your mouth
You cover your ears
Still you follow our trail
We’ll do it all, we’ll do whatever you say
God has left us anyway
You cover your eyes
You cover your mouth
You cover your ears
Still you follow our trail
We’ll do it all, we’ll do whatever you say
God has left us anyway
There are echoes in the garden, is anybody listening
There are echoes lost in the garden
Is anybody listening?
They whisper:
“The ones who are only living
Are the ones who are only dying”
It's a really sad song.
And some more than that.
Absolutely Stellar Vocal Performance
Thank you Susanne! Beautifuuuuuulll!
Jónsi won the Nordic Music Prize but the main event of the evening was definitely Susanne Sundfør :))
Amazing performance, amazing voice.
I was there! It was amazing!
Is there no end to this womans talents

whenever I see a really awesome video and there's like 2 - 3 people who don't like it, I'm like; what can you possible not like about this?
Beautiful vice and song
Really a musical experience
La mejor versión ❤
why does this song make me cry?
Fantastic song.....
Respekt Susanne!
Einfach nur klasse !
Fantastisk!
this is pure beauty
AWSOME !!!
Chills..
Rett og slett mektig!
So beautiful...
Hahaha "Enya ta deg en bolle".. Nydelig sang!
yes yes shes going to germany!! wohooo!!
magiczne.....
mooi hoor!
Well said
it's so frustrating she didn't play the last part!
they just missed the like button
except from the great Robert Plant in the early days of led zeppelin.
i still cant believe the greatness of the stairway to heaven, and the mystique arround the bands beliefs and secrets.
She's like a Norwegian Joanna Newsom (which would probably be my dream girl), but she's totally her own thing too. Shit is stunning.
this song is so sad
Men flot nummer!
Someone knows the first instrument the saxophonist plays?
Hennes versjon "suger"
elske deg susanne :D
@pahanssen OH MY GOD MINE TOO! xDDD
I like her live performance at Cigale better.
GEORGE IS GETTING UPSET!
" Enya ta deg en bolle" xD
Nå tuller du?
damn, they didn't sing the last part. :(
@bruzwork disagree there. while the solo version with just keys is great, the musical expereince with the violins and pedal steel far outdo that version IMO
breathtakiing...
it's much better when she's alone, without all this useless pseudo-chic musical rumble in the background. check the 5:47 live video of the same track, amazing.
hu her suger, hu ser kje ut, og musikken er tragisk, tar nesten sjølmord når eg hørre på den. off
bastards clapped to early >:( .
This is almost as good as Jay-Z.
Kidding. Don't hit me.
Klart hun synger live
Saw her live yesterday and even if the soundquality wasn`t the best I fell in love with her music emediatly! Beautiful!!!
