The winners are usually the taller. They have wider strike than the shorter. Put the same height, weight, muscle mass and see who the real winner is. Otherwise, it's cheating.
Following that logic the Russian women should dominate the speed skating sprinters world. But they don't! The way shorter and lighter Japanese are! Nao Kodaira and Miho Takagi are the ruling champions.
