@@Jamie_one_of_many_prophetsthey've been together for 4 weeks mate, they'll naturally improve and tighten. Opposition has to get the ball down there first, a good midfield limits that. Cheers.
@@deanhall6045 It was a marked improvement although it is difficult to gauge whether Port played great or Essendon were deplorable. I believe something in between is an accurate assessment. When Port can get the game on their terms they are an unstoppable force however my concern is when they are challenged and/or when things are going against them they don’t possess a plan b to stem the tide.
@@Jamie_one_of_many_prophets Thought that's what they pretty much did tbh. Essendon had us on the ropes but 2nd qtr onwards we turned it around. Plan B is there
@@Jamie_one_of_many_prophetswe saw an improvement in that area of being able to lockdown and control the field when in front, we've lacked that in recent years. But yes, it's hard to know if Essendon were that bad or we made them that bad. Either way, that edge they talked about is the edge of a cliff at the moment. Cheers.
Ken Hinkley is the best (regular season) coach going. An amazing (regular season) record would have Port fans excited this year (for the regular season).
If your team goes 12 seasons with the same coach and no grand finals, and the fans didn’t criticise, that would signify a huge cultural problem. You can’t have 10’s of thousands of fans who care that little about club success
Errr, port flogged the dees midfield and all other stats across the board. What game did you watch? They lost, yes, they kicked poorly unfortunately. But to say the dees midfield bear port's is an outright delusion and false. Port beat them without Jason Horne-Francis for starters. The only dees midfield that stood up strong was Gawn. Rest got dominated by port's mid
That Port midfield is sensational. Not a supporter but love watching them play. Definitely a premiership winning midfield.
A strong defensive unit determines the premiership team. Against strong opposition they don’t compete for long enough.

It's long season congratulations to Port on the win.

@@philkensebben6672 Port fans routinely accept mediocrity and some instances celebrate that fact.

@JasonBrown-sg6xw Finals separates the contenders and the pretenders. Port historically gets found out in finals.
Ports midfield got toweled up by Oliver and petracca last week, rozzee overrated
Hahaha where were you looking? Towelled up? Not likely, even without Hornet, and your opinion on Rozee is ...peculiar.
@JasonBrown-sg6xw Adelaide supporter? 😂😂😂
