"La Campanella" is considered by a lot of professional classical musicians as one of the most difficult piano pieces to play, and Miyako absolutely killed it !
@@mamoru1412 Interesting, for I recently read a comment from a "troll" ("ingopek"?), that Lovebites "blackmail" critics. Unbelievable. I do not think that such a behaviour is covered by "freedom of speech".
LOVEBITES - Lost in the Garden lyrics: Eyes blue and waving blond hair Green brooches on her chest Beauty catching the eye of everyone with no doubt
Hear pleasant sound of the harp Time passes like a wind But never bringing season with the flowers and you
Must care, love and stand by one's side to save their souls We are all complicated, delicate, adorable
Can't get close, can't even touch your fragile heart Finally we have met but you disappear I'm chasing pieces of things you left behind Somewhere inside of me still believe that you are here There is a new world that's beyond the sea And searching for the meaning of your last words
Nights giving me the loneliness It's taking breath away Drowning in this darkness, struggling out everytime
As lighted by the sunrise Breeze bringing me the peace Relief that this will be another start of the day
Words sometimes has different meanings that what's said Feelings that can't be put in words are ones that's precious

Nightwish is still my absolute favourite band but Lovebites comes directly behind them, my No. 2. They are just fantastic, every band member an incredible artist.
Here is a video from Miyako's official TH-cam. She shows us what it looked like when she was first practicing Liszt "La Campanella" and then shows the staggering amount of progress one day of practice can make. th-cam.com/video/-q7trbbUC14/w-d-xo.htmlsi=DpnhWSnV4fNMCk8o She has her own English subs embedded so you can see her thought process. She mentioned that Lost in the Garden was created with the motif of La Campanella and "If I were to perform that song live, I would definitely be playing La Campanella in the piano section". And here we are : )
Miyako is so talented. She makes it look so easy. Looks like Fami is using her new customized Bass. I'm not sure if it's true, but I read it was a 21st Birthday gift from the ladies. FYI All 5 of the ladies can play piano.
Her piano LP with metal songs rearranged to a classic presentation is stunning. She has piano recitals scheduled for Japan this Fall and you can see why. She is an awesome guitar player who has learned a lot from Midori (she has also rubbed off on her as well), however IMHO she is a much better pianist. Here despite not the best audio you can see how she tackles a very difficult piece. These insanely talented musicians are relentless in the pursuit of perfection especially LIVE. Again, this band NEVER disappoints.
An entertainer who captivates the audience with a wide range of songs. and the advanced skills of each individual A miraculous group of first-class musicians. The joy of watching a metal band called LOVEBITES There are four basic human needs; food, sleep, peace and LOVEBITES🔥🤘
This song has it all for the Neoclassical metal enthusiast! How easily the Romantic-Classical inspirations are married to an impressive and virtuoso display on modern instruments is close to mind-boggling. This song is in my Top-10 from them, and with LOVEBITES songs being awesomely great up and down the list, that is one of the highest praises I can sing! :)) The end of the song feels truly like being lost in - not a garden - but a solid English maze, where you keep being confounded until your senses are in a spin! And no, I do not think they have another song (yet) where both Miyako and Asami play that grand piano. Of course their technique is different, as is the presentation, with Miyako being, in spirit, like Liszt and Chopin, a dark-browed Romantic she so well embodies, while Asami playing those cords with an impeccable posture and poise reminds me of a lovable and adorable little Mozart. And while she mainly harmonizes with the powerful riffs here, the wow factor is strong. One can just hope she continues to add her instrumental touch going forward.

I understand what you were trying to say about Fami being enthusiastic and her lovely endless smile. However, Miho is out of the question, I might differ with you because she was enthusiastic as well (there are different ways of showing it), she sang her heart out in every concert with no mic, you can see her on other videos on the background following Asami's vocals and singing with the crowd, she headbanged hard, interacted with the audience as well. More than that Miho was the founder of Lovebites and an established musician. all of the girls are virtuosos. 😊❤ Love from France to your channel and the Wolfpack 🐺🐺🐺
I always noticed that La Companella bridge in there and figured she must be a Lizst fan. Sure enough, on piano too! Definitely my favorite song of theirs. Good as they are, though, I can't help but notice a few (well-covered) live mistakes.
This is what I call making classical music heavy. Well actually our classical music were the masters heavy metal works back then . They were basically the big four of their time.
Your next Lovebites vieo to react to should be their freshly released live performance of We The United. Azami plays a little piano in that song also, but it's rather low in the mix.
There are two ways to play "La campanella": the first like Miyako, is more difficult with the two parts, the first played with the right hand (sharp) and left (soft) and the second all soft and in the second way all parts soft. This is different from the original version of Paganini (with violin) that is all sharp. Thank You.
Miho and Fami are different bass players. Miho has a deep and thumpy bass and sometimes do delicious slides and did play in total sync with Haruna. A perfect rock and metal bass. Fami is more technical and do diverse sick things, very nice, a totally different feel. Double thumb slapping and whatnot. Also, like Miho, using fingers. Fami is young and can only get (even) better. Both Miho and Fami are just the right basist for Lovebites, in their own way. Now, unfortunately, talking about Miho sometimes is a sensitive topic. She has very strong fans. I mean, that is understandable, it was she and Haruna that formed Lovebites. I was not here from the beginning so I do not have that strong feelings. I just see her as the good bass player she is. I would appreciate if you that are such big fans of Miho took a step back and avoided getting so offended when someone that is enthusiastic for the current setup of Lovebites happens to do a comment you are not agreeing with. Either let it pass or say that you love Miho (and also Fami) or something. Even say that you prefer Miho if that is the case. That said, it would be a nice move from Lovebites to give some love to Miho or Miho to give some love to Lovebites. I mean old band members that you do not have any disagreements with, why not socialize somehow? Do not have to be so serious. And if they already do, make it visible. Would be nice. If not for other reasons than to stop this kind of touchy situation.
8:549:46 (and following): You obviously had your "Lovebites moments". 😁Yes, _also Asami_ (main vocals) can play piano. But she is _better_ on her vocal cords. 😁 With Míyako (piano/guitar), it is the other way 'round: She can sing, too, but she is _better_ on the piano and the guitar. 😊
Haruna has said that for her to get her way of playing the drums is to play out of herself with minimal exertion. Lol in other words she has out of body experience while playing the drums and plays in Zen mode. also in my opinion I think its just a matter of time when we see them playing along side of a full orchestra.
Interesting performance with two pianists. Lots of skills and good pieces. This is not my favorite tune. It is a bit monotone. But the details are delicious. And all in all a solid performance.
