Village Market is one of the oldest malls in Kenya. It's a melting pot of many cultures as most UN workers and Embassy staff mill around there. It's not the biggest, but very fancy with a tapestry of restaurants from all over the world. If you are looking for sheer size, Two Rivers will do it for you. Nairobi has hundreds of malls though.
Yes, this is the Village Market Mall. There are several in Nairobi (Sarit Centre, Yaya, Westgate, Two Rivers, Karen Hub, etc) and the city is known for having many and quality malls. The Maasai Market is on different days in the city so just need to google the schedule to see where it is… karibu Nairobi.
Karibu Kenya. Just to confirm. The majority of non Afrikans are not tourists but resident professionals/expats with their families living in Nairobi, majority of who work with the UN and other international orgs. As you may notice, thus is an upmarket mall and the fact that the majority customers are Kenyan Afrikans indicates that kenya has a big middle class. This was not so 20 years ago.
And many of those are not tourists. Most are Kenyans and residents. Nairobi is a diverse city and one of the UN Headquarter cities of the world together with New York and Geneva. Plus hosts many African headquarters of major international corporations.
It's not the size of the mall, it's the vibe! Village market has a very special charm.

@@Perfectafrika that's really a good quality for hero 7, do you color grade the image, or it's straight from the camera?
