Punjabi movie industry is really young so most of the Punjabi movies are light hearted comedies, rom coms and family entertainers. They do better business as compared to other genres

Am from punjab region of India and I gotta tell you punjabi movies are very regional and most of them are comedy and Diljit Dosanjh also takes part in most comedy movies,He have relly very few 2-3 movies with serious role

It's the only tonal Indo Aryan language although a few sleect dialects are sometimes considered different language's even though the differences have pretty much disappeared as small rural Punjabi dialects become more standarised or died out (mainly in states that split off from the present day Punjab states on both sides of the border).

Well, this movie is full of Punjabi culture. Most of Indian movies are not related to this type of movie. In Punjabi cinema, when they make comedy films, it’s hilarious and funny. Of course, Punjabi films makes different movies with new story and concept but when it comes to comedy movies in Punjabi film industry, they are always making good fun movies in a funny way and situation. They are more often hilarious. Diljit Dosanjh is known for his comic acting and performance. Watch Udta Punjab, Jatt and Juliet, Sanjay Singh Rangroot, Punjab 1984 and Soorma, you will love him and love his acting and performance in those movies.

He's obsessed with Japanese because it is believed that they are very intelligent and that's why the actor in the film says to his father that he should be proud of him he thinks like Japanese people. Even though Punjabis are living in every part of the world, still there are some places where there isn't much western influence and because of these reasons their humour is different. Being proud of having Japanese mentality is an example of it. In most of punjabi movies, they portray characters which mostly have similarities to people of Punjab of 70s-80s who didn't know at all about technology and modern stuff and because of it they looked very innocent and funny.
