I been playing the game 8 years now, 12k hours, never in my life had a mirror and never had enough to buy a mirror. Already 5 mil monsters killed this league and I have 7 divs to my name. I think it’s time I give the game up
What he should have done is another fun crafting vid with sushi with all those divines to try to create a bow, just for the fun of it and content value.
easy league + twitch chat + a few handouts a normal guy would never be able to do this just twitch chat alone backseating speeds up ur progression like 10 times
Adding to what others said, some people try to craft the best possible item for a build, then when they craft that item, you can copy that item (it will say mirrored at the bottom), so basically you can get a perfect or near perfect item for you build, normally these crafters sell the mirror service so you have to get a mirror to copy the item plus whatever they charge, sometimes they charge another mirror or many divines, some people offer it for free or in exchange for a tip lol, some of these groups are kinda infamous because it is possible they do rmt with all the currency they amass
As a casual player who only reached mapping and not bossing, why mirror an item? Isn't it worse since it's just a copy that can't be modified? And aren't most equipment cheaper than a mirror? Iirc his bow was only 80 divs right?
you can mirror ANY non-unique item. even that one item some random player sank 500 divines into for crafting just to min-max their build. so you can get a mirror, and just have an exact copy of their item without taking the time or currency making it yourself. but even if you didnt want to do that, they can also be used just as a big boy currency item. i think currency tabs have a limit on how many orbs of any kind can be put into them. so if people have over the limit of divines, then can just start buying mirrors and now they can fit it all in one tab.
To be at this level and understand everything, you need lots of time. POE take time to learn, way to much time if you have family and jobs. Wouldn't recommend anyone starting to play, unless he has lots of free time
Instead of gold people use the crafting resources as currency. Average player makes 1-3 divine orbs an hour (the items that look like a face), good players make 5-10 divine an hour. The item hes buying costs 500-800 divine depending on the current state of the market. Mirror of Kalandra is so rare its very common for players with 5000+ hours to have never dropped one. It allows you to 1 time use duplicate any rare gear. Its used to copy perfect items from top tier players normally for a fee. Items that would cost thousands of divines to make.
I feel like someone needs to inform rax that he shouldn't base poe on this league ... this league is one of those blips we get every now and then I think last time we had an insane one like this was scourge or or something

People craft mirror-tier items which are items that are best in slot for certain builds and these crafts typically cost a lot of divines, having a mirror to copy that item rather than crafting it yourself and potentially spending way more divines makes it very valuable
@Dreammuncher the reason apart from the fact they are soo rare is imagine the absolute best item 1 in a million on roles only available with certain mechanics that league. Now whatever that is worth a mirror can just make one more it's able to hold its value because technically nothing outside of a corrupted item can beat it
@@Dreammuncher No you don't understand. It's not about using twice the same item. People are using mirrors to TRADE copies of crafted best-in-slot items. If someone crafted a best-in-slot item, you can create a copy by sending him a mirror and a custom fee, he can then send back the copy created with the mirror to you. Therefore a mirror is intrinsically as valuable as the most perfect/powerful items currently in the game because it has the ability to copy them.
You can hold alt on your currency in the trade window and it will tell you how many is in there, just to be extra sure
