A day in BRAGA, Portugal

A short video showing some attraction in Braga, Portugal.
Braga, one of the oldest cities in Portugal and was ounded more than 2000 years ago by the emperor Augustus, with the name of “Bracara Augusta”, along one of the main Roman roads of the Iberian peninsula, it was the administrative center of the Empire, which, later, the emperor Caracalla elevated to the capital of the Roman province of Gallaecia, present-day Galicia. The diocese of Braga is the oldest in Portugal and, in the Middle Ages, the city rivaled Santiago de Compostela for power and importance, one of the Camino de Santiago passed through it, when the cult acquired greater importance, with the Christian reconquest and the foundation of kingdom of Portugal.
