How to solve a problem like hospital discharge

Our virtual breakfast event discussed:
- The causes behind delayed discharge, why people get stuck in hospital and what can be done
- How the NHS can work with partners across local government, social care providers, housing associations and the voluntary and community sector to better understand the causes of delays in local areas and how to resolve them
- How funding such as the Adult Social Care Discharge Fund, specifically meant to relieve short-term delays over winter, can be most effectively administered and managed
