Professor Sycamore's theme puts a giant smile on my face. It calls to mind the music of Tomohito Nishiura, whose blend of layered strings, piano and accordion in Dark Cloud 2 and the Professor Layton games is permanently emblazoned upon my nostalgia. This is more than just his theme. This is a welcome fanfare to the new region of kalos. The accordion is an evident nod to the french influence in it. But the violin brings you to the calmness of the first areas. Telling you that it's ok to just wander around and be yourself. The piano, precise. Telling you that your adventure is starting and that there's more to see and explore in the deepest parts of the place. This the has always enchanted me and it shocks every person I show this when I tell them it's from Pokemon.,
