"If you try to run, I've got six little friends and they can all run faster than you can." Fun Fact: Some of the body parts were from other films by Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez. Music Enthusiast Fact: The band playing in the Titty Twister is Tito & Tarantula, featuring Robert Rodriguez. The line-up also featured Oingo Boingo drummer Johnny 'Vatos' Hernandez. Slytherin Shenanigans Fact: Salma Hayek has a real fear of snakes and had always refused to be near them. Naturally when she read the script, she knew her phobia would prevent her from taking the part. Robert Rodriguez conned her into thinking that Madonna was ready to nab the part instead, so Hayek spent two months with therapists to overcome her fear.
It's a shame you KNEW it was a vampire movie... Back when this came out me and all my friends went to see a "Tarantino/Rodriguez Movie" (ie a Mob movie) and then half way through... Whaaa... The promos did a good job of not spoiling it, even when it came out to rent on vhs (yes, I am old) Great reaction nonetheless x
Fun fact, the Ezekiel speech in Pulp Fiction, was originally going to be in From Dusk Till Dawn. Harvey Keitel's character was meant to say it as he made his way from the bar to the storeroom, but Tarantino decided to save it at the last minute.
I've seen a lot of vampires movies and I mean a lot and this still is probably the most insane and batshit ( haha 😂) vampire movie I've ever seen like I'm always astounded by how crazy this movie gets Lol
I got to see this in the theater when it came out. The sound design was unforgettable in a cinema. I'm glad more and more people are discovering this hidden gem.
The supporting characters in the bar include Tom Savini, a world-class practical-effects artist, and Fred Williams, who was in a bunch of genre films including the Italian “Black Cobra” series.
The movie wasn’t supposed to be a Vampire film, but Tarantino got stuck once he got the story to the Mexico, so he just said “screw it, they’re all vampires.” That explains why it seems like two different movies.
When this came out most didn’t know it was a vampire movie. Because of tarrintino sand Rodrigues last movies it looked like another gangster movie which was pretty much trending in the 90sc after pulp fiction. So when the vampires popped out my jaw dropped but I was happy as I loved horror even more than gangster flicks
I've literally have seen this movie at least 15 times, and I've never noticed (until now) that when Danny Trejo was killed, his eyeballs rolled into the pool table pockets! 😂😂😂😂
"Psychos do not explode when sunlight hits them, I don't give a fuck how crazy they are!" -- Great reaction, I hope to watch more from your channel. Note, though, that this isn't exactly a "Tarantino movie" in the normal sense. He co-wrote the script, but it was directed by Robert Rodriguez, better known for the El Mariachi/ Desperado series, the Spy Kids movies, and a bunch of modern grindhouse films like Machete and Planet Terror.
@cmlemmus494: Not to mention, Robert Rodriguez brilliantly co- directed ( with source writer-illustrator Frank Miller ) 'Frank Miller's SIN CITY' ( 2005 ) - brilliantly adapted from the "SIN CITY" graphic novels ( comic books ) by Frank Miller.
I saw this opening night at the theater......I knew what was coming but most of the other people there didn't. It was hilarious watching the entire place freak the hell out. 😂
"I hate snakes" So did Selma. She had to have herself hypnotized to perform because she was afraid of them. Thank god she did though because that was easily one of the sexiest scenes ever put to film and if she had refused they were going to get Madonna for the role and she isn't remotely as hot as Selma.
Love this movie, I'm actually currently watching the TV series from 2014. The first season is an extended version of what the movie is, fills in the gaps of the story highly recommend it 👍
Yes I Really really enjoy watching your reaction to from Dusk till dawn Ylva This is my favorite George Clooney and vampire movie 🧛🏿♂️🧛🏼♀️ And I love the song Dark Night by the blasters 🎶 There's a From Dusk till dawn 2 and 3 !!!
There is something that gives me chills about how sex machine runs his fingers up dudes back before biting him on the neck lmao. Like a spider or something.
George Clooney as a bad guy: "Out of Sight" (1998) George Clooney, Jennifer Lopez, Ving Rhames, Michael Keaton. From a book by Elmore Leonard. and it's predecessor: "Jackie Brown" (1997) Pam Grier, Robert Forster, Samuel L. Jackson, Robert DeNiro, Chris tucker, Bridget Fonda, Micael Keaton playing the same role as in "Out of Sight". From a book by Elmore Leonard, directed by Quentin Tarantino.
Good choices for further viewing: "Buffy the Vampire Slayer' (1992) Kristy Swanson, Donald Sutherland, Rutger Hauer, Luke Perry, Paul Ruebens (PeeWee Herman), Thomas Jane, Hilary Swank, Ben Affleck "Shadow of the Vampire" (2000) Willem Dafoe, John Malkovich, Cary Elwes, Eddie Izzard "Sleepy Hollow" (1999) Johnny Depp, Christina Ricci "Vampires" (1998) James Woods, Daniel Baldwin "Fallen" (1998) Denzel Washington, Donald Sutherland, James Gandolfini "The Prophecy" (1995) Christopher Walken, Viggo Mortensen, Eric Stoltz, Amanda Plummer "Innocent Blood" (1992) Anne Parillaud "Desperado" Antonio Bandaras, Salma Hayek, Steve Buscemi, Quentin Tarantino, Danny Trejo. I was at a Sci-Fi con about 20 years ago and someone had made a great looking model of "Sex Machine as a vampire" (with his pistol open of course). He said it was just for his entry into the model contest. After the contest, I made him an offer he could not refuse. The coolest thing was that Tom Savini had a table at this con and he signed it for me. It still sits above me on my computer desk. When people come over, I ask them if they want to see my sex machine? I get all kinds of responses (especially from wives). 🤣
If you're taking suggestions and doing a bit of a '90s throwback: The River Wild (1994) The Fifth Element (1997) Strange Days (1995) Long Kiss Goodnight (1996) Death Becomes Her (1992) The Fugitive (1993) Speed (1994)
@Ylva ( The Viqueen: ) I'm kind of late posting a comment here. But I hope you WILL see this post and take this recommendation. Recommended another movie to watch, and do a reaction video to: brilliant, 2005, movie 'Frank Miller's SIN CITY.' This movie was also directed by [ actually co-directed ( with Frank Miller ) by ] Robert Rodriguez, who directed 'From Dusk Til Dawn.' Rodriguez's good friend, and fellow filmmaker, Quentin Tarentino ( who wrote the screenplay for, and played "Richie Gecko" in, 'From Dusk Til Dawn' ) directed A scene in 'SIN CITY' [ the scene in the "The Big Fat Kill" segment - where "Dwight" ( Clive Owen ) has an imagined conversation with the dead "Jackie Boy" ( Benicio del Toro ) as he's driving to The Pits. ] 'SIN CITY' is based mostly on the first, third, and fourth books from the "SIN CITY" graphic novels ( comic books - for us OLD guys, like me ) by famed comic book writer-illustrator Frank Miller [ of "Daredevil," "Elektra," "The Dark Knight Returns" ( "Batman," ) "300," ect. fame. ] Miller also CO- directed 'SIN CITY,' along with Robert Rodriguez. Synopsis ( story summary: ) Prologue: "The Customer is Always Right," Part 1 - a hitman, known as "The Salesman" ( Josh Hartnett ) and a woman - "The Customer" ( Marley Shelton ) meet on a penthouse balconey. This short segment was actually filmed FIRST, as a proof-of-concept - for Rodriguez to convince Miller to allow him to make 'SIN CITY;' Opening credits, then; "That Yellow Bastard," Part 1: An aged police detective - "John Hartigan" ( Bruce Willis ) tries to protect a young girl - "Nancy" from becoming the next victim of a serial pedophilic-killer ( Roark, Jr. ) [ Nick Stahl; ] "The Hard Goodbye:" "Marv" - a tough, scarred-faced, but good-hearted man ( Micky Rourke ) goes on a rampage after a woman whom, as he says, "was kind to me," is killed [ co- director Frank Miller has a cameo as the priest in the confessional; ] "The Big Fat Kill:" A private detective - "Dwight McCarthy" ( Clive Owen ) must protect his girlfriend "Shellie" ( Brittany Murphy, ) and then "the girls of Old Town" ( prostitutes ) from a drunken, harassing man - "Jackie Boy" ( Benicio del Toro; ) "That Yellow Bastard," Part 2: "Hartigan" is seen just shortly post- the events in Part 1, then eight ( 8 ) years later he must defend a now- 19 year old "Nancy" ( Jessica Alba ) against a now hideously deformed "Yellow Bastard" ( Roark, Jr. from Part 1 ) [ Nick Stahl; ] "The Customer is Always Right," Part 2: "The Salesman" ( from the Prologue ) is seen starting a conversation with "Becky" ( Alexis Bledel ) [ from "The Big Fat Kill" segment ] in a hospital elevator; End credits. Brilliantly filmed, mostly against green screens, in black-and-white ( with splashes of color ) - to match Miller's graphic novels.
This was written by Tarantino, it was actually directed by Robert Rodriguez
Good movie ! 🇺🇲🇮🇹🇲🇽
Although you can definitely see a Tarantino touch in the direction of some scenes.

True Romance was another film written by Tarantino. great movie and amazing cast

George clooney plays menacing on another level. 💯

Agreed haha!! I loved how crazy it was and all the gore, a refreshing vampire movie 😂
"I hate feet!" Oh, just you wait 😂
You made my day with this. This is an awesome and fuc***** cool movie!
I got to see this in the theater when it came out. The sound design was unforgettable in a cinema. I'm glad more and more people are discovering this hidden gem.

The guy with the genital gun is Tom Savini, probably the best make up artist in Hollywood. He made the most famous horror masks in movies.
The movie wasn’t supposed to be a Vampire film, but Tarantino got stuck once he got the story to the Mexico, so he just said “screw it, they’re all vampires.” That explains why it seems like two different movies.

Epic movie I’m so excited to see your reaction
Good job on the reactions, keep doing what you're doing 👍🤘

Fun fact! This is Salma Heikas first movie introduction and she is terrified of snakes! So imagine her fear lol
As someone afraid of snakes I can definitely understand her fear 😂
Great reaction 😎 I've watched this movie a few times and I'll need to watch it again with your full reaction
I saw this opening night at the theater......I knew what was coming but most of the other people there didn't. It was hilarious watching the entire place freak the hell out. 😂

She is officially the sexiest vampire of the cinema😍
The demonic vampires in this are so badass. And Clooney was the ultimate alpha male. Dope reaction girl.
Favorite reaction channel!!
😂 that was so cute when you pantomimed crushing the heart. 👍
Sex Machine should get his own movie he’s like biker Indiana Jones.
Nice reaction, but it would have been cooler if you didn't know that vampire was involved, that would have been a much better twist for you ☺
Tarantino didn't just take the role. He wrote the script.
I think selva was around 26 . That scene was voted the sexist scene in movies. ( once) not sure of its current ranking.
close, she was 29.
@@Henrik_Holst oh thanks

Fantastic reaction, as usual.

'Satanico Pandemonium' (Salma Hayek's name) is a 70's cult film that Tarantino likes. I actually have the dvd.
This movie and O brother where art tho are my favorite George Clooney movies

The TT only served bikers and truckers because they're transient and can't be tied to the bar when they go missing

Other written movies by Tarantino that are well to unknown are stuff like "true romance" which is no romance movie xD
Watching FDTD knowing right from the start that it's a vampire movie... that's a shame!
I am absolutely sure that this is the movie you wanted to find .: John Carpenter's Vampires, 1998
(hell ye)
.
If you're taking suggestions and doing a bit of a '90s throwback:
The River Wild (1994)
The Fifth Element (1997)
Strange Days (1995)
Long Kiss Goodnight (1996)
Death Becomes Her (1992)
The Fugitive (1993)

The sequel FDTD "Texas blood money" isn't very good. Now the 3rd part "The hangman's daughter" is awesome and you find out about the ruins.
Ahhh both sequels AND that awful show sucked. The first one..... THATS IT.
Yes Britney got inspiration from this film with Salma Hayek long overdue of her sexiness
