DubSkin, a Fort Collins reggae band, opened this sold-out show at Denver's Ogden Theatre. Matisyahu was backed by the Dub Trio, a Brooklyn based, metal-dub-punk-rock band comprised of members DP Holmes - guitar, keys, dubs; Joe Tomino - drums, keys, dubs; and the one and only Stu Brooks - bass, keys, dubs.

I love the original guitar solo. These variations are depressing and leave a bitter taste.
I like the full, rich sweet sound of the classic guitar solo to this song.
For me, this version rocked and was the best of the show...Matisyahu + Dub Trio = Awesome
King matishau may God bless you in Jesus name ❤
I was there!!!!!!!!! It was so awesome!!
What a great audio this footage`. The bass is awesome!
For anybody who hasn't gone to see Matisyahu perform live, I highly recommend it!
I agree. No comparision to King Without A Crown (Live from Stubb's) version.
Praise unto the king of kings, lord of lords El Shaddai above
TY 4 the views...
Matisyahu ™ 💙
the musicians showed their excellent skills here :)
Cool song, he's looking good.
Him and Dub fx got good mssage :)
WOW!
i don't see him as being arrogant, he just developed as an artist more, bettered his craft, still the same message.
this is him. people grow. shaving his beard has nothing to do with his voice. He finally thought it too silly that his beard meant blessings from God and if he shaved it the blessings would stop. This isn't the 1920's...His Hasidim/orthodox may no longer be there on the outside but he is a proud Jewish man and artist. his inside and outside now match..as he said in an interview.
One day I hope he goes back his old self.
show essa musica...
2019 to aqui sz
The song was originally far slower than this, and had a much different arrangement. While the version we're all familiar with is a lot more energetic and cooler in many ways, one thing I always liked about the slower version was that you could really listen to the lyrics. So I like that about this performance.
Reminds me of Nick Hexum of 311
no way.. is this an act of mourning?
MTF Solo!
La letra de esta canción habla de algo que el propio artista ha olvidado sin el jasidismo se perdió lo que hacia diferente a este artista ahora me parece uno mas, no soy quien para decirlo pero la canción perdió proyeccion
The old Matisyahu was so much better!!!!!!! Was it the beard that gave him his incredible voice and skill!? So sad...
How can you judge an entire person form one video? lol
c'mon now.
What happen with the old Matisyahu? Ooooooooh :(
I miss "Live at Stubb's" :(((
WTF happened? where´s the glorious end of this song?
this blows
i just saw him live two days ago and it was insane. he knocked over speakers ripped off his shirt stage dived threw a speaker and had fans bumrush the stage. this was just a bad show i mean look at the crowd
maybe he's just happier? sorry people change
this is just a version, and he just cut his bearb, whats the big deal, time change people change, music change, so thats it
жаль что бороду сбрил ) но !!! все равно крут!!!
he lost his beard :)
regarde le nombre de vu depuis que tu t raser la barbe ta cote est en baisse
Its obvious he lost all his powers when he shaved his beard off ):
nah, he's fine until 2013
This version is just awful. Besides it being way too slow, he is meaning to sing it as if it were a pop song, but can't make up his mind on how he wants his voice to come across. I realize artist change over time, but songs themselves hold special places in our hearts because we are used to them one way.
Sounds like a non-musician comment. Musicians change things up because they play the same song every night for years. This keeps things interesting, for the artist and for the aware audience members.
NO ME GUSTA ESTA VERSIÓN
Something is definitely different about him. One of the true artist I heard 5 years ago is not the same person im watching in this video. Sorry Matis but this aint you. Try to find yourself again.
I dont know what it is, but you should fix it.
I saw Matthew Miller ( aka Matisyahu) in Indianapolis Indiana at the Vogue in March of 2006. Crazy thick long beard , trimmed hair, Yarmulke + tzit tzit's hanging out ( yes, I'm Jewish) - his show was energetic + people ( those not Jewish) 99.5% of the crowd were just swaying to the beat.
The "fix" you're asking for? Is a temporary blind spot of his ego.
That's what I think. But, everyone has their own opinion.
Great performance. Davined with 15 other Jewish guys + he lead the service at 10:30PM that night.
whack version... with the rap airhorns... Sounds like the version they do when they're tired
that sucked
i just saw him live two days ago and it was insane. he knocked over speakers ripped off his shirt stage dived threw a speaker and had fans bumrush the stage. this was just a bad show i mean look at the crowd
