I’m trying to be optimistic but I think the saints gonna win this game I just feel like it’s our time if we can just make the playoffs I’ll be cool with that . Definitely looking forward to next season
Vikings fan here, the Kirk Cousins fiasco that Atlanta had had to deal with should be a hard lesson for the Falcons fromt office. That lesson is ALWAYS do your homework when considering signing a free agent. Especially one coming off of a serious injury. I still believe the real reason they drafted Penix was after signing Cousins, they realized that he was nowhere close to being healthy for a full season and they had made a huge mistake. Otherwise the Vikings would have made Kirk a better offer if he was fully healthy. And after watching Kirk every Sunday for six years, i could clearly see that something was clearly off with him. Almost zero movement in the pocket, throws where the velocity wasnt there, that achilles was clearly still a problem to the point where it screwed up everything else with Kirks game. He wont be in Atlanta next season, and the Falcons clearly have a much better future with Penix.
