Doubts are not answered. Normally, chimneys in power station plants are connected to flue gas outlets which require openings of matching sizes. How to model the openings and design the structure? There are intermittent platforms to support steel flues. How the platforms are to be modelled and designed with temperature stresses?

I have attempted to design the chimney with the same specifications & parameters and on analysis I have been informed that there are 400 errors (=No of elements) and error message is The design moment exceeds the limiting moment of resistance for all elements. What might be wrong? How to deal with the error part of this? How do you design a ring beam foundation for chimney with slant elements/ring beam? Do you have any example on youtube?
