I think the best part is, Dariel shows zero hatred towards him, and still compliments everything hes done. He genuinely only fights to protect his family.

Dude, without him, the demon army is falling apart
more than just that, based on the flashback scenes, Dariel was also in charge of keeping the army's economy afloat but with him gone, that also fell apart leaving the other two generals to do all the heavy lifting. All while Bashverza was busy studying the dar arts, spending the entire army's budget on a Mythril bomb and totting his own horn as if he's already winning the war. But he fails to face reality reality at all.
@@ryzacobalion3622 The Water and Earth Generals did all they could, but Granbarza knew his son, Bashbarza, was the “weakest link” in the Demon Army Chain. Sadly, it was his adopted son, Dariel, who’d been the strongest link. Small wonder the blonde Earth General felt around him she could trust herself with Dariel, because he had everyone’s back, especially hers.

@@theodorehsu5023 i knew that Droyes (the earth general) had strong feelings towards Dariel because as shown in the flashbacks she could be herself around but im guessing because Bashverza is a higher rank than her she couldn't help Dariel after he got fired. Wven if she did, Bashverza would do anything in his power to demote Dariel and probably Droyes from the whole army.

The dude is literally one of those individuals who don't take responsibility for the mess he makes so rather than owning up to the problem he caused he rather just blame others to make himself feel better

This guy is the last person to call anyone else incompetent; he was screwing up the Demon Army so badly, that his own father had plea to the Demon King to have him be removed from his position
I hope in the next episode, Dariel receives the recognition for his efforts. A whole lot of people and Demon have taken him for granted
The demon king nows that true from the beggining but Dariel was good employe to say his name and already know that with him the army doesn t work lol
Bashbarza fired the one dude keeping the entire demon army organized. This is what happens at a logistics company when you have the one dude do all your things and then he quits.

@@christopherrogers532 It is frighteningly realistic. You really think it's as simple as "demon king orders the army" and all his minions automatically does it with no additional directions? They need weapons, food, medical, rest, communication. Everything a real army needs. Dariel just does all that and is such an important piece that the entire house of card falls when he's gone and the dude at the top is too prideful to do it himself
Dariel may have something else that Lord Bashbarza used to have, friends, families, and loved ones.
From the look of things, Bashbarza never had friends and was always the spoiled brat.

Bashbarza can still be redeemed the moment you see him feel speechless against Dariel praising his hardwork.

The tragedy of the situation is this isn't Dariel's problem to fix. It is his adoptive dad's. If that man had realized he was making a hash of things with his biological son he could have averted this all. And Bash isn't an idiot. He just isn't wise to his weaknesses. And why would he be? His brother was set up to be Bash's bat man. Covering for Bash's every failing. So while Bash has done some monumental foolish things his reasons are really understandable. And maybe should have been seen to by his father long before now.
What was it Kratos recently said? We must be better.

Dariel has really moved on from the past. The fact Bashverza didn't even care to make amends makes it more obvious that he's needy.

Dariel is a classic OP copy and pasted character.
Isn’t the copy paste anime character one who screams and cries 70% of the time? Dariel is more reflective and calm. You may not like it, but others, me included, like to see something other than Emo psychopaths all the time.
@@storyseeker6028 But yes, classic undefeated MC where he has to be smart, super strong to everyone, and especially, I don't like that he has everything (wife, fame and wealth) without struggling.
It would have been nice if he had been a "zero to hero" type slowly, step by step, but no.
