I'm gonna be honest. Dominic was straight up incompetent as a Don. A great fighter yes, but a bad leader. A majority of the game had him dismissing threats from the rebels in Cuba, a possible trap set up by the Rossatos disguised as a peace summit, all the way to Roth. He rarely made any decisions outside of other's influence like Roth. I can understand Dominic being subordinate to Michael's direction because he was still the main Don so to speak. But he listened to Fredo's opinion and just immediately agreed without fact checking. Fredo! The guy who was known to be not trusted with any majore calls in the family In summary, outside of player controlled actions, Dominic acted more like a Soldier then a Don.
After all these years, I've realized that Tom Hagen and Sonny Corelone are two sides of the same coin. Tom viewpoint is the ink of a scholar is worth a thousand times more than the blood of a martyr. Sonny viewpoint is it's all about the power and might and it doesn't matter who is wrong or right.
They cancelled the series because this game sold very poorly, and also they got sued by Mario Puzo's estate (the author of The Godfather novels) for not giving them royalties.
This game, and the first game, and the mafia games, a mix of all those games is what Mafia 3 is going to be. That's why I'm so excited for it. Buggy, doesn't look so good in the clothes/car options, weapons glitching thru clothes, dumb as hell AI, I know the game will have flaws.. But the fact the game reminds me of those games I mentioned, is why I'm gonna love it.

I'm so pissed that characters are not accurate I love this movie but they could have shoved out a few extra bucks to get characters right even scarface on ps2 was better

The element of being boss and building your crime family from nothing to the top was what really sold me on the God father 2 the game 👍 plus as you said taking over places in a gun battle. Great shooter game play 👍
