2:26 didnt expect my hometown to be mentioned in a WTS video. You got the pronounciation right in the end - "Temp-puh-knees". It means "Ironwood Tree" in Malay. Loving the series, Jack!
Try to go all out for the CB that wanted too much. Get him on a trial until his demands lower a bit. Would be a huge signing Edit: His name is Rio Suetsugu
As much as I approve triggering those one year extensions, it definitely makes sense to do it after you've finished improving the squad rather than immediately.
Best part of these videos is listening to Jack absolutely butcher these names.. was funny with Rugby Town and British names.. some right tongue twister in Japan and I'm all for it and Jack butchering of them 😅
Just started binge watching from the beginning. These are the type of saves I love... just like park to prem with such a story Hope you find crazy saves like this to do again after park to prem finishes in FM25. Keep it up 👍👍
Noda got me wondering… Is there any correlation between high mentals and high eccentricity in goalkeepers that results in them being “good crazy” (taking risks that pay off) as opposed to “bad crazy”?
i actually signed abe during my save in japan when I was in the J3 league as a rotation player. he was okay got like 8 goals in 15 games and surprisingly rarely got injured. also are at barca really never worked out, he sometimes went on pre-season with the first team but never really impressed in those campaigns, used to be really quick!
Maybe this will change when I can afford to get the game and a computer that can actually run it and can therefore properly appreciate them, but Transfer Specials aren't my favorite kind of episode and the suggestion that it might be is mildly irritating. Don't get me wrong, they are good episodes, but I live for football and the seasons, and seeing teams move up and down the pyramid systems. I love watching the matches, and seeing the points go up as the season progresses, and hoping this is the season we go up. I follow 15 or so teams across 10 national league systems, but I doubt I could name more than 25 active players, so these really aren't my thing, and I kind of miss when it was only one transfer special per in game season. I want to reiterate that these are still good episodes, but I definitely prefer the episodes about actual football games. Sorry for the rant, and keep up the wonderful series, it's usually the highlight of my day.
Sony FC are based in Sendai and owned by the Sony corporation and since they are majority owned by a corporation as per JFA rules they (as i found out the hard way) cannot get promoted to the J-league
Takagi is also fickle personality...he's gonna be a total pain in the ass!! I've tried with fickle players...I've paid them off to leave my team every single time.
Can somebody tell me if there's a benefit to triggering contract extensions as soon as they sign? I've never had a complaint about triggering an extension but I always wait until their last season after a few years or if there is unwanted transfer interest
WTS, what's your plans for repairing the cash flow in the club? The new season will be somewhat frustrating if these acquisitions don't pay themselves. Btw, good sale you made there on Watanabe, that's a good start. Do you expect to sell one more ace, maybe Ota? Cheers from Brazil. ❤
If you need help with pronouncing - theres a professional wrestler in New Japan that's Shingo Takagi - so you could check how to say your new guy's name properly! I think its "Tack-ah-ghi' phonectically. Or nickname him Shingo, or Shingo Jr.
Anyone else hate it when you get promoted from Tier 8 to Tier 7 in English football and your owner decides to go Professional? New owner took over shortly before season ended, so I added $3 million to the coffers(like any good new owner would do, except this one) and tried to get new training and youth facilities(as I've noticed the cost is different from team to team for some reason; to go from 1 star to 1.5 I've seen cost $700k at one club and $200k another). They turned me down for training facilities but approved youth facilities at a $71k cost. After season ended in promotion, owner comes up and says he wants to go professional, and I said 'NOOOO!!!! WE ARE TOO LOW!!!! GIVE ME TRAINING FACILITIES!!' He goes, 'Nah, I like my idea better so I'm gonna run with it'. Wonder how long til he sells because we lost so much money. ETA** Even reloading the backup save and taking the money away, he STILL wants to go professional. I think it's his ego at this point. 'I own a professional football club, how about YOU?' I love this series Jack, actually enjoying it more than this years P2P. Watching you in Japan with the weird promotions and Kevin struggling at Wembley, best FM summer.
Day 259 of praying that another Super Mario will rise and shine in Japan (Mario is technically japanese after all) within this new awesome save and for Jack to actually sign him this time!
There is GK better than Sasaki and Matsuzawa. But because you are not bright you walk away and don't even compare him with Matsuzawa. Even if you didn't find him or other better GK don't buy Sasaki
We’re gonna be bigger than Sushi in Japan by the time this career is done, up the 23s
Real
Work The Space "Don't extend contract day 1" challenge:
Jack " Say the line Yosuke."
Yosuke: sighs... "Thats a good offer, im very happy with it"
Jack "YAY!!"

Jack retraining a player to play ball winning midfielder, my confidence in the world has been restored

Edit: His name is Rio Suetsugu
Maybe 4 jumping isn't so bad?
I remember when Stephen Gold had 4 finishing in your FC United of Manchester series, and look at the fun he had 😀
Exactly his fcum series with Stephen gold was so much fun that I signed him in my fm save with hullbridge and is now a 4 CA player with 14 finishing
As much as I approve triggering those one year extensions, it definitely makes sense to do it after you've finished improving the squad rather than immediately.

Alan Rickman in Die Hard:
“Mr Takaaaaagiiiiiiiii!!!”
Never has the "fickle" personality trait been so accurate
i'm afraid mr takagi won't be joining you for the rest of his life...

Jack looking at a goalkeeper who is taller then over 75% of all Japanese men... and still complaining about the jumping reach.
Loved my save on this database. No youth recruitment needed, just raid the high schools and university end of contracts in lower leagues :D
Noda got me wondering… Is there any correlation between high mentals and high eccentricity in goalkeepers that results in them being “good crazy” (taking risks that pay off) as opposed to “bad crazy”?
You would've outgrown Watanabe before long anyways. You doubled your money +. Thats a good deal.

also are at barca really never worked out, he sometimes went on pre-season with the first team but never really impressed in those campaigns, used to be really quick!
When is he going to learn to not do contract extensions on day 1
Mission today: sign a keeper, mission tomorrow: sign a keeper, I wonder what the mission in two days will be. . .
Yout sub goalie looks like the unhappiest lad alive
Abe was actually a pretty good J2/3 SS for my team in 2025/26 seasons
akai now looks like he is the next best wonderkid out of the bundesliga
great series, i got in FM cause of u.
doing a brazil serie c to serie a run and its pretty fun.
Jack u should maybe try out nakajima on the right with kayanoki only being able to play off the left
tokyo 23 means we dont sign anyone older than 23 lol

Try and loan Nwosu for GK! That's what I did with Veroskronos and now I have the best GK for the next two divisions xD
50 Minutes?🎉 Jack you so romantic today

I'm looking at your typo and can't tell if it's supposed to say minority or majority.
I'll assume it's majority from the context.
@@arciks11 neither. It's a secret third thing.
Toyoda to replace Ida at CM would be fantastic and we know you love training players to play deeper
So tomorrow we are signing another left winger, right?
Why do you contract extend straight away, just wait and they won't be peed off so quickly.
No chance on the Watanabe deal. With more signings he may have entertained contract talks.
Takagi is also fickle personality...he's gonna be a total pain in the ass!! I've tried with fickle players...I've paid them off to leave my team every single time.
Didn't knew tampines got that much money 😅

Takagi looks mad
i guess jack just forgot that iida was on 500 bloody pounds per week, why is he judging these much better players for asking slightly more than that
I do love these transfers -- longer the better!
Transfer special, let's go!
Give the short king a shot

Can’t wait for his match vs Bryan Danielson
you may be over board given too much per week on those last contracts
Jack what is the name of the plugin/mods for the player screens etc that you use for your game?
Its a custom skin, link in the description
It's really not my favorite kind of episode but to each their own.
Anyone else yelling DELAY!!! when he sold Watanabe?
thanks for the updated akai pic haha 😇
Potential to retrain Nakajima to LB?
Why didn't you sell Watanabe at the end of the season? If someone wants my star player, i always change from Immediately to at end of the season.
His contract is up at the end of the season and he would have left on a free. As a result teams won't pay money for him at the end of the season.
I am not a big fan of Singapore and I am in Singapore
love a good long transfer special
Lets gooooo!!!!🎉❤🎉
