BLOW THIS UP FOR JARDON TO STOP DYING LOL The advanced Cori's count as throwing blocks, so use the previous dimensions armour (which gives 85% block damage reduction) to prevent the Cori's from killing you.
Advanced Coris (and the following mobs within the next dimension) are probably why you should be getting armour with higher armour toughness, to be honest.
After checking the code, the Advanced Cori projectile deals 100 damage. Also, it looks like the Cori projectile damage type is "thrown" damage, whatever that is, though Arlemite is still supposed to protect from that. However, the code shows Arlemite armor only doing a 70% damage reduction to ranged attacks, not 85%. (When the player is hit by arrow or "thrown" damage, it multiplies the total damage by 0.3 before applying it to the player.) Now, the problem is, when all is said and done, the Arlemite Protection IV armor *should* have worked. The 100 damage is reduced to 30 by the Arlemite set bonus and then reduced to 10.8 from Protection IV, resulting in 7.3 damage after applying the armor's defense and toughness. So, there must be something wrong going on. However, if it's the set bonus that's not working against the Cori, then Projectile Protection IV Rupee armor should work, with a single hit leaving you with 3-4 health remaining. Projectile Protection IV Bedrock armor (not considering any set bonus because I didn't check what it was) would leave you with 7-8 health after an Advanced Cori hit. Of course, all of this is purely theoretically, I didn't actually test any of it in-game... EDIT: Wait, if the Rupee projectile protection doesn't work, then I'm pretty sure the Projectile Protection enchantment won't work, so you can disregard the last part of this comment. However, with the absorption hearts from a golden apple and Protection IV Bedrock armor, you should be able to survive a single hit from an Advanced Cori with 1-2 health remaining.
just get a full set of projectile prot 4 villager and put it on iron or diamond armor. You can tank 1 shot from the cori with about 1 heart left. Also you can hold down the sound weapon thing if you arent holding a shield

I know you got infinite emeralds through the books and bookshelf trades but if you zombify them until the paper for emerald trade is 1 for 1. Then setup a much bigger sugercane farm and 1 sugercane grown equals 1 emerald. It's the easiest way to essentially grow emerald
Just binged the series, haven't watched one of jordans seriest on this channel since mayanite so its been a while "xD I wanted to suggest Enigmatic Legacy as a mod that would make alot of things better. The first thing ide suggest is making a "scroll of knowledge" which is a bauble that can store infinate experience and you can keybind a toggle between absorb experience and returning it, this allows you to store all your levels on your person without risk of loosing them in death. there are dozens of other really useful items in that mod aswell including some ways to fly at different costs. there is a scroll that lets you fly at the cost of a small experience drain or if you set up a beacon its free to fly in its range. and one last item ide suggest making is the "tome of hungering" which allows you to strip all enchantments off an item including curses and put them on a book. for the purpose of enchanting if you pair that mod with apothesis then you can use an "enchant" library to store all your enchants in broken down form and you can pull them back out in any combination on a single book, I believe that would make enchanting a faster and smoother experience since you will probably end up repeat enchanting many sets of gear. Ive been enjoying the series so far, keep up the good work Jordan
You should build a trophy hall to house your trophies, armor, and weapons. You can also then make it a mission to get all of the armor and weapons and trophies in the game

Hmmm, it seems like perhaps you have forgotten to instal some mod that you were certainly planning on installing this entire time, and definitely are not getting just as a response to your limited armour choices.
You should collect two cows and name them Steve and Edgar or Steve Jr and Edgar Jr as a tribute to the original. You should also get another Jerry the slime or Jerry the slime Jr
No it’s because post 1.9, high damage values that the Cories do (100 damage) pierces through your armor to the minimum of 16% reduction (excluding enchants) meaning that what would have reduced the Cories attack to 20 pre 1.9 only reduces it down to 84. Meaning now armor enchants have to carry most of the work to reducing the damage.
i keep saying according to the wiki that armor stats in jei are wrong each progressing tier has more damage resistance than the last plus the full set bonuses so it is worth doing it but no someone say oh the values the same no mater what which is false according to the wiki rupee only cut half the damage and up to 85 percent melee your getting one shot by ranged even half the damage is still 10 hearts while the most recent one is like 80 something percent damage resistant to all damage at least make bedrock armor 78 percent damage negation and fire lava and explosion immunity if you wont tier up please im begging you ive been trying for multi parts since you asked your not doing it so you get one shot or overwhelmed
thats the thing cap your using overworld tier armor in a super late dimension of course you get oneshot even with 85 range damage percent it base armor is still less then rupee at 50 verse 55 so your trading one shot to range only to one shot from range and melee so even at 85 percent less range damage plus the amount from normal prot it still one shots you it might not with projectile prot but idk even still it is only at 4 percent damage for normal cories not advanced which do more damage by at lot so make better armor at least bedrock then prot it or install a mod for higher enchants and one that lets you get more hearts
Please try and science this! Get something that reduces Melee damage instead of Projectile. I'd love to know if you still get insta-gibbed XD "Pummeled" sounds like a melee attack lol
Flux plugs are dope but might i suggest quantum entangloporters from mekanism? Very useful for transporting items wirelessly esp with the digital miner

@Oye Hoye it's the opposite actually, 3 normal prot+ 1 proj will give you max damage reduction from projectiles :)

I'm playing on a 1.19.2 realms and stonks works with a librarian cured 2 times for me. I only ever did 3 if a book was really expensive.

To free up some space on your display wall, you could only display one of the flying dudes that you tried to trap, instead of all 5

Is refined obsidan from mekanism any better protection-wise? If not, you might just consider getting a mod that adds some better armor.
it says "was pummeled" so projectile projection / projectile damage reduction is entirely worthless against the coris.
