I love the "love of a mother" from Thabo's mother. When she hands over that unexpectedly pocket money to Thabo. "Uhambe kuhle boy boy wami, uthenge okumnandi hatshi okubabayo" I can relate to such situations. It brought a tear to my eyes.
I love the lesson in this drama, ubaba kaLuba uzifunela amalobolo kalandaba le kusasa yomntwana wakhe. Let's protect our girl child. Marriage isn't an achievement & it doesn't last forever but education is a powerful tool to empower our children even if us as parents we're no longer there to protect them .
Well you can't say marriage is not forever. But I understand what your trying to say, as in this context marriage was irrelevant to that young girl and since she still had to pursue her dreams. In addition, she was just innocently dating and she did nothing wrong💔💔. The father was just hungry and unreasonable for absolutely no reason, and if they didn't believe her they should have we to check for her V card kuboMama abahlolayo
As I'm a Namibian I learn alot from this drama..it's really mean something to the nation worldwide...I like the content of this drama....for Luba😍 I have no words to say...keep doing your best girl...can't wait to see the next parts💙💙🔥🔥🔥
All the way from South Africa I like the fact that her friends helped her, Luba is a star❤️🔥what her social handle? ... Shout out to the whole cast 🙌 🙌 🙌 ❤️🙌 can't wait for part 3
This Film takes me back to 2008 in the village where I did my Secondary when one of my friend was married off exactly in this way unfortunately 2 years after getting the child she passed on... May her soul rest in Peace. She never go a chance to be rescued... 💔💔💔💔💔
I see Luba not having peace at home with father shouting at her everyday. Seeing the good relationship which exists between Luba's mother and Luba's aunt (ubabakazi, her father's sister), Luba eventually goes to stay with her aunt who anywhere has been responsible for paying her school fees. In SA, Thabo finds a domestic job under an empathetic employer who listens attentively to his plight. Gets support to further his studies. These two schoolchildren work extremely hard burning the midnight oil. They are a great joy to the new families they are staying with. They kept in touch. They both excel in their further studies. They get high paying paying jobs. Thabo comes back to propose to the girl of his dream. Luba's father accepts, but greatly ashamed and apologies for all his past evil actions to Thabo's parents and also to his sister. The gossip woman wishes the earth would swallow her for almost destroying the lives of these children. A big wedding celebration is held, and they all lived happily ever after.
Girl power 💥 Again a great film & soundtracks are on steroids.. I loved the friendship ka Thembi, Musa & Luba! The curiosity about indulging. Parents need to at least introduce such talks with their kids!! Great work to everyone involved in this masterpiece both on screen & off screen!!
Well done for this piece girls👏👏👏👏👏 There was a lot of this happening in our society that's why these girl child protection acts have come into effect. Girl's were literally chased away if found to be pregant, not married off. Parents would drag their daughters and dump them at the boyfriend's home. A lot of girls were committing suicide as a result or drinking bleach etc. I am glad there's this awareness about the laws in place.
Jealous is not my thing. This is really so wonderful ♥️, the best. All the actors are too good when it comes to acting, especially Luba and Thabo, and all the others too. Well done guys, you deserve an award for real. Now what I want to hear is :IS THE PART 3 COMING 🙈🙈🙈?

Great production, great cast, great music, good education of the law. You can do with a culture consultant to polish up the script to make it culturally correct for the setting but still keep the dramatic effect & address the social ills. Ngesintu samandebele in particular you don’t chase a child for having a boyfriend. Even if she gets pregnant, isisu siyabikwa and the boy pays ‘damages’ only if he accepts the pregnancy (even in this process there is no chasing away) and if the two want to get married then amalobolo/dowry come into play.
@@raisedonbaya8785 I don’t disagree with you there, it’s a social ill that needs to be tackled & I’m glad there is now legislation to deal with it head on. Truth is there are known religious sects and ethnic groups where this type of behaviour is prevalent & it’s been in the news. But it’s foreign esindebeleni. Outside those religious sects and ethnic groups there may well be isolated cases of greed or spurred by economic challenges where a girl child has been forced into marriage often to older or well to do suitors but this is not the story. In this setting all I’m pointing out is it is not quite correct to pass it as a cultural norm. Given the societal and cultural surroundings, the practise is foreign and so the script fails to educate the audience of the relevant cultural norms and taboos. As I said ngesintu samandebele you don’t chase a girl child for having a boyfriend or speaking to boys & force her into marriage. If you are going to chase her away at all it’s to a relative like an aunty to separate her from the boy and for her to get counselling & for tempers to cool down etc. If she falls pregnant isisu siyabikwa & if the boy or man agrees that it’s his child then his family pay ama ‘damages’ for impregnating before marriage.

The father has decided he wants 5 cows, he just wants to sell his daughter to be another man's problem!! That's core, even the girl's aunt was not informed. Girls do get chased away in most cases without lobolo even, that's reality and fact. Uyise kala ndaba lomntwana yena ufuna inkomo noma umntwana engendanga kunjalo. This not about marriage but teenage pregnacy in a mordern society and what some parents ' ignorance destroys the future of the girl child.
