Great piece to practice delicate finger strumming. Important part of finger style guitar for me. Learned finger strumming and many other skills from the 6 string fingerpicking courses. Gratitude!
Thanks for this! Very clear instruction. This is a wonderful classic with some tricky playing and vocals, frankly. I was listening carefully to the recording and a few of those lines are not easy to nail with any precision e.g. "into the light of a dark black night." It takes some time but it's well worth it.

Just in the process of trying to learn this. Why use your first finger not your second finger? All the other songs I've looked at your advised to use 2nd finger on the B string?

It's a light brush with the index finger on the 2 & 4 counts. Tricky to explain via text but essentially that's it
