You know, with all the money she had laying around, I wonder if she could afford a monthly cleaning service to come in there. I don't know how expensive it is in NYC, but here in the 'burbs, cleaning services are surprisingly affordable. But anyway, there's no excuse for letting a little apartment get so filthy.
I cannot believe that they held up those rubber gloves and commented that they've been 'where the sun don't shine'.....on TV! For everyone to see! Further, I can't believe those gloves are there in the first place. A shocking episode, especially with discovering a dead rodent. Ugh.
First the clutter comes. You don't mind it at first. But then it grows. And grows. And because of the clutter, you can't clean effectively. And then the dirt builds up and up and up, at the same time as the clutter. And then it all goes downhill. Clean up messes immediately. Or else.
keep in mind this was also her parents apartment. she probably has never paid rent in her life. by the way welders in NY make great money... about 30.00 an hour easy..
I like this show, it's very helpful and amusing. The only thing I don't like is the fact that it takes 30 minutes for this video to load. But that's not your fault, nice videos.
I bet the people cleaning would have pocketed the money, I would. I used to detail cars at an autobody shop when I was a teenager, and I stole whatever I could from people's cars.
