- Pokemon Music orchestra Live Overture Music Concert video games live E3 2012 imagine a WII U game or 3DS was revealed? we pokemon fans got crazy over a song lol so you can only imagine how many screams there would be if a wiiu pokemon was revealed for this audience

As a 17-year-old kid, I can't imagine what the next generation will be entertained with. We got Pokemon, and they probably will as well, but what else, I wonder?

Xecila As a 14 year old guy I have also watched this series on Netflix and it was really good. I also have played the original Pokémon games on the virtual console on the 3ds. I wish I was a kid back then in the 90’s. This must have been the best back then and everyone must have been talking about it.

I remember renting the first season of Pokemon on VHS tapes at Blockbuster. I even remember playing the demo for Pokemon Snap there too. Man, those were good times.
Like pokemon or not, you have to agree that the theme to Pokémon Red/Blue/Yellow is one of the most iconic songs in games. Maybe even one of the most iconic songs period.

As much as I liked this, I think there was definitely a backing track played along with the orchestra; this sounds way too close to the original soundtrack to be purely orchestral.
441meatloaf that's exactly what I was thinking. I can definitely hear a a few sounds which is come from the live band, but other bots im fairly sure is from the backing, such as the few bits of electronic sound.
***** yea they get an orchestra, but then they edit it with software and add various sounds unattainable by a small symphony on its own

As we grow up, we forget the games we've played and how much fun we had as a child. It's things like this that allow us to tap into our memories and feel that same love we had for these games as we did long ago.
