you should try to squeeze a kitchen in somewhere! weddings always need a place for the cake and food to be prepared, also a bar is usually necessary (unless you already planned on doing it in the market in which case, godspeed) love this build so far 💜

For the marketplace an idea would be to have them as sort of tents or temporary stalls and you could say that the church rents out spaces and uses the money raised for the church community... I have no idea if that makes any sense but in my head I can picture it... lol stunning build as always xox

Since I am not on mobile just imagine there are five heart eye emojis following this statement hahahaha Some general ideas: -Area to light candles as a way to honor loved ones -Flower wreaths on a couple graves -Lights in the trees by the outdoor wedding area Market ideas: I like the idea of a market area being tastefully cluttered and a bit more casual to contrast with the ornate architecture of the church. Maybe even a bit more modern. Things that could be included: -a couple of food stands with a picnic table or two to eat at -a restroom -those city living tables or maybe the jungle adventure ones -a place to paint and sell paintings -a place to play/busk an insturment
Hey! I kinda have an idea for the detailing part. Many churches have like choirs, and they have like those stair things that they stand on. You could put something by the little wooden door that leads to the grave yard that eludes to that. If like actual stairs don't work, then there's maybe some kind of coffee table and/or other table that kinda looks like those stair-things. Maybe something like that could be fitting?

Not sure if anyone commented but I think it was Kate Emerald who did a tutorial on how to stop stuff from floating on the terrain. One tile walls underground. For each item, them use the 9 key to bring the item to the surface.

Please create Mildred and her pig of a husband and send them to the confessionary! Behind the benches you could do a candle alter, I've seen churches with them. And upstairs, opposite to the organ, maybe a place for a choir. The little wedding garden is really cute, a bit creepy to have it next to the graveyard, but I'm here for the weird stuff so... And as per usual, the not aligned graves annoyed me haha, forever annoyed at offset stuff. P.S: You look like Tony Stark 🤣
i feel like the organ should be downstairs at the front because that is usually where they are and makes sense for playing music when someone walks down the aisle
When you were doing the graveyard, all I could think was that in Scandinavian history it was warriors and leaders that were buried in hills lol also, now I wanna get back into playing Sims long enough for people to die so I can make a backyard graveyard

I laughed so hard on your facepalm for the bug with fences and gates. This is me every time I’m playing The Sims because there is a lot of bugs in it nowadays like objects from apartments are staying on walls of stairs (I mean... From walls of apartments. UNCHANGEABLE WALLS. And then you can’t place those windows and doors (and sometimes paint) back because - GUESS WHAT - they cannot be changed. Bravo!), some same debug objects are causing weird things (like that laying ivy is all good, when it is from Outdoor Retreat, but when it is from Get Together, it causes flying grass (WHYYYYY) and etc. Also San Myshuno is flooded in that rich district with multiple multilevel flats (sorry, I don’t know name of this district in English, please tell me, what is it, thank you in advance). Like I don’t get it what’s wrong with The Sims... I gave my heart to you, why are you doing this to me and everyone who loves you. Sorry for this sad note. And sorry if I made mistakes in this comment, feel free to correct me. Also I really love your church, this atmosphere you’ve created. Just fantastic!

So when you’re in this district and try to get closer to decorative part of it, that objects that simulates river (or what is it, well, the water part of district, let’s say) rises and covers buildings, trees and roads, so it feels like that district is drowned (I guess this word can be used in this case?). I thought it was just my problem because of mods or my computer (since it really weak), but my friends have the same thing on their stronger computers with zero CC. So... I don’t know, if I explained this clearly enough, sorry if not 😅
The glitches drive me absolutely insane. I haven't touched my game in about a month-month in a half. (Roughly) I like to build and play, but building therapeutic. My therapy session becomes stressful when the game doesn't work.
You kept saying how morbid your graveyard is so to make you feel better... to avoid ghosts in my houses when I play the game I usually build a graveyard so I can put the graves on a lot and my sims can still visit if they want to or need to for story reasons and then the grave isn't just at my house. So it could be more morbid

If it helps churches often have a bookcase in the back somewhere, for hymn books etc.
