I've got the same exact set up on my 200. Only moved the wedge once in 50 years and I lightly drove a tapered chisel in the expansion slot and it immediately snapped in half. Found one at a salvage yard. Mine is a 74 model with year-a-round cab with heat/air that still works great. I'm 70 now, so I've spent 50 years on my 200 tractor. I see yours has the gated PD control., so it's got to be a 74 or 75 model. In my opinion the 200 with this PD control is the easiest manual shift PD control AC ever made. Also, one of the few models they made with the throttle in the right place. I still farm a little in Kentucky near Lexington. Thanks for sharing the video on a great old Allis.
Mine is a 1975. I've only had mine since 2015, but I grew up on a 190XT. The 200 has been on my wish list since I was a kid in the 70's playing with my cousin's toy 200. They are really great tractors in my book.
@@SilverGleaner They are good tractors but could have a few things improved. Front tie rods maybe a little weak, batteries a little hard to access on cab models, but hey, they are 50 yrs. old. I also see yours is 2 speed/hydraulic PTO, tilt/telescope steering as mine also has these features. Yours is almost a twin to mine except for the factory cab. Good luck with it. Hope it serves you well.
@steveogden1829 Yep. The 7010 that was initially supposed to be introduced along with the 7030 and 7050 would have been a bit more modern but I'm told that AC thought it was too expensive at the time. I believe there is a picture of a maroon belly 7010 in one of my Allis books written by a former AC employee. BTW it's no treat to change the batteries out on a 4020 when it has a cab. BTDT.
