There’s a common belief that a book collection is considered a library when you have 1000 books. I feel like your home library deserves that title not only because of sheer number but by the pure reverence you and your family have for books. 📚💚
As a fellow English lit major, my ears perked up with familiar names and titles. Pwede bang magrequest ng Rica’s Book Club as a part of the YT channel or podcast? 🥺🤲
I admire this episode because it did not focused on the aesthetic design of bookshelves. Hehe you showcased the books and your love for reading “good books.” I’m inspired to actually read books, hindi yung nagko-collect lang for aesthetic photos. Hahahaha
After watching this episode, i remember the young me that loves reading novels but because of circumstances in life i have to tuck and hide that side of myself because i have to sacrifice alot of time in being a mom and have forgotten that part of me that love books.
When you were talking about the contents of the book, you were rekindling a fire that has almost died, a hunger that i didnt felt existed til i hear from you how enjoyable it is to read. I want that joy back so today i decided to go to the library and for the first time in 25 years I picked up a novel, and it is one refreshing thing that connected me back to myself. In a way i have found an escape in every pages again. Thank you for the inspiration.

I love this video of yours. It made me realize that reading is not just mind of one person, it is also sharing, feeding others' minds too. Ang diverse ng genre ng mga books na binabasa. Very honest, pure pa po ng mga sinasabi ninyo about books na relatable sa buhay grabe! Tapos the fact na may nakalaan na ample space sa bahay for the books parang ang sarap tumira sa bahay niyo po. To more vlogs pa (PS: Sana magkaroon po ng video about book reviews yung nabasa niyo na po tapos irereview niyo po siya plus sharing na din ng lessons while reading the book or after reading the whole material.)

I also write on my books. Pero I saw this thing in Shopee, a transparent note. And I find it very useful whenever I want to take down notes without sacrificing the page itself.

i waited for this!!! do u also have kindle? i know iba pa rin ang physical books but for me na palipat lipat ng bahay and always stays in a condo, hindi sya advisable na mgkolek ng marami hehe kaya yung mga books ko binenta ko na o pinamigay. hehe ngkikindle nlang ako ngayon or minsan audiobooks. i have few beloved physical books.😍💕 btw i wanna read when breath becomes air again.. super iyak din ako sa book na to😢

sounds funny but in the middle of your vlog, I found myself crying. ganun ko pala na-miss yung sarili ko, hindi na pala ko nagbabasa ng libro, ni humahawak samantalang dati tinitipid ko pa yung allowance ko para makabili. OA pero diko ma explain, it seems that I found the missing part of me. Try kong magbalik libro! sobra kong nalungkot... lumagpas pa yata ako sa Adulting 🙃

Ms. rica ano pong specific book na recommended nyo para sa taong mag move on from a very toxic relationship and mag move on nadin sa depression season?
