Good evening, Todd. Definitely made me think of Calvin. Love seeing this old equipment. I have quite a few friends that are. “Nozzle nuts”! 🇺🇸 19:04

Hey, Todd. What an interesting place! Thank you for the tour. Wish we could have learned more about the horses that pulled the old steam pumper truck.. They must have been very special, to be able to pull the apparatus through the streets quickly, then remain calm and steady in a place where there was fire, smoke, and frightening noise. Not something that came naturally to horses.
I lived across the street from a firehouse when I was a little girl in Brooklyn, NY. They certainly had a pole there and the firefighters slid down it. They also had a Dalmatian dog that was the fire company's mascot.

I bet that was exciting for a little girl to see them respond when an alarm came in!

Thanks Todd! Awesome video, really enjoyed it. Old equipment is so cool. We had one story firestations but got to slide down the pole at a neighboring city (Terrell Hills) when there on mutual aid or training. Thanks again for mentioning my channel!

I hope someday you make it to Brenham to visit that museum Calvin, there is much more than I could show and keep the video from getting too long. You would enjoy it and I could buy you lunch at my favorite Tex-Mex place!
