We just went back with the 80cc cylinder. Not 100% sure, but the 85cc should be ok with the 80cc head, but you definitely should assemble and rotate and check for interference before trying to start it.

@morgannolen8954 I just use the VHT ceramic engine paint in an aerosol can, you can get it from AutoZone, it's very good paint and looks great. I use it on other bike parts too because it's really durable paint. Don't forget a paint job is only as good as the prep work you do, you have to absolutely degrease and clean the surface well first. @morgannolen8954 sorry forgot to tell you it's called Cast Aluminum and it's by VHT. There are other brands that make the cast aluminum color, but VHT looks the best, been using this stuff for over 10 years no complaints 👌

Hey mate. With the barrel was it a 85cc? I’ve got a 99 yz80 and I’m putting a niche 85 barrel on it. Do I use the old 80cc head? Cheers
