I actually I favor baroque and classical opera preformed on original instruments and authentic performance practices. That and Wagner. Whatever is playing in that clip is barely recognizable as music: "we'll put out a major chord here, a minor here, to try to suggest some kind of emotional affect, and add plenty of drum sound from the synthesizer or generations corrupted by decades of our popular music substitute will think its too 'artsy.'"
The thing is, it does suggest an emotional affect for a lot of people, myself included. You could consider the idea that you're deaf to it, the same way lots of people are deaf to the beauties of classical music. And I'm not saying that one is better than the other, just that one shouldn't be condemned for liking one or the other.
Anyway, you're probably trolling, but this snobbish attitude towards popular culture will always disgust me more than a lack of culture, because a cultivated man or woman should know better than to despise anyone for liking anything, whether he or she deems it artistic or not.
You're too pretentious, how about you respect other people's opinions if they differ from yours?

For a (pleasant) change, the score is also memorable, unlike MCU, or for that matter all of the so far released DCU movies where I don't even remember the distinct sound of an onscreen hero..
Movies in the past had a distinct sound signature for an onscreen character, like Darth Vader, Indiana Jones or even the shark in Jaws.

When I was a little girl, I wanted to be just like Wonder Woman. Gal Gadot looks just as I would imagine Wonder Woman to look like. The look, the scenery, the costumes, and the soundtrack are so amazing. I have high hopes for this movie.

No, it all depends on the director. Unlike other studios, WB gives a lot of freedom to there directors and it's gotten mixed results out of there experiment. We got great films like Mad Max and Godzilla out of it and we got bad films like Pan and Jupiter Ascending. Though it looks like it'll be gone for the DC Cinematic Universe, seems like they want it more structured and controlled like Marvel's.

As a man, and a fan of DC who stood behind Man of Steel, and B vs S, regardless of criticism. This movie was too much for me to take in. Ground breaking, emotional, and powerful. The power i feel, and emotional adrenaline and the messages that DC movies send are unique and untouchable.

This movie may have just saved the entire DC Extended Universe
It didn't because the DCCU never needed saving. It was making loads of money even without the approval of the critics, hypocritical lot. Seriously, the reason they loved Wonder Woman is because what we saw in theatres is the movie she set out to make. That's why there's no extended cut. However, the critics reward the MCU every time Disney/Marvel places its vision as a higher priority than the director's.

Honestly WW 1 is a bit of a massive prick competition between the world powers, WW2 was much more interesting in my opinion, people knew how to fight modern wars, besides Italy, there was a great villain, and for once it is actually about saving the world.....and Professor Einstein just gave the world's biggest, loudest, I TOLD YOU SO at the end.

@@ornvlla I do read the comics. Before she was Captain Marvel, Carol Danvers was a very likeable character. She was smart, funny, beautiful and had her own flaws, which was she was an alcoholic. She's honestly a B/C list hero, more better as a side character. When Carol became Captain Marvel, everything changed. Marvel is shoving her in our faces like she's a powerhouse and is their Wonder Woman, but she's not and never will be. Marvel also has her look more masculine than feminine in their books and it's not right. She now also acts like a dumbass or does something stupid. Civil War 2 story really butchered the character that fans don't like her no more. Also, her solo series keeps tanking with poor sales and keeps getting relaunched. And with the MCU pushing Captain Marvel as the #1 powerful being overall to take down Thanos, it just seems like they're doing this cause she's just a female and trying to please the female audience. As for Larson, i don't know that much about her, but I've seen better trailers where the actors are more into their characters than she is.

Freya Mulhall trailers for movies really mean nothing. There have been tons of really good trailers for pretty bad movies (Spider-Man 3 is one example, from what I remember the BvS trailers were pretty good, that movie was pretty bad, the first Suicide Squad trailer was pretty good, and that movie was much worse than it should have been, but I do blame that on the production of that movie.)

No idea what you're talking about. Wonder Woman has probably never left the island she lives, and if she did, then I would imagine it would have only been to travel to Ancient Greece. Her attire is symbolizes her origins. Greece. She knows little to nothing about American culture or ideals. She probably doesn't even know America exist, so of course she would represent her own culture instead of being a symbol of the statue of liberty. Her attire has nothing to do with what she stands for. It's her actions. She's willing to fight in a war to liberate people from ever having to fight in a war again.
And yes, the cinematography is still great. Every scene is like a picture. I could care less about the slow motion. We already know that Wonder Woman is capable of deflecting bullets with her wristbands. The Slow motion just emphasizes her perception of how fast the bullet is flying when she does it.
You're just a negative Nancy whose probably a Marvel fanboy and thought that Age of Ultron and Doctor Strange were good. DC has had a lot of flops especially if they have been touched by Zack Snyder. Wonder Woman looks promising, but then again so did SS and look at how that turned out. The trailer looks good. Can't wait to see it

I was wondering what was so lackluster about the Captain Marvel trailer until I came back to check what was so great about the WW trailer. I think the difference is that WW trailer is about Diana talking about herself, he quest and her purpose, while CM is about Samuel L. Jackson talking about CM. The first sold me onto it immediately, the second... I still need a stronger reason to care.

This IS THE VERY BEST MOVIE OF THIS YEAR 2017, WOMAN POWER!!!! My daughter & my husband want to go watch it again in theater. It's the first time I have heard my daughter and husband wanting to watch any kind of movie in theater for the second time. This movie makes you want to be a Super Hero, and Save the world. Not kidding it's the best. We walked in not expecting much, we came out inspired, and motivated for anything when movie was done.

In the movies, My main complaint is that they have changed the very essence of who Wonder Woman is. She is now a WARRIOR. She was never that. She was always a noble, benevolent protector, one who never killed, and most importantly, NEVER expressed rage. That is what put her on a higher moral and ethical plane than the rest of us mere mortals. They have also changd the amazon from being highly skilled, beautiful GODDESSES, to once again... hard warriors. Also on a more superficial note, not having a spin transformation was a huge mistake. Maybe it wasn't in the original comics, but who cares. It's iconic now. It's like having a Star Trek movie with no transporter.

It took me a couple of years to watch this movie, it was the posters for WW1984 that told me this was something else, and I‘m so glad I did. Can‘t wait for 1984!
As long as Zach Snyder remains involved and WB refuses to stop interfering at every turn, I remain concerned for the quality of future films.
I hope it's good, because DC fans deserve good movies for based on their favorite comics too... and not just the Dark Knight trilogy.

When I said all this to my dad, ending with, "from now on, I'm training like Wonder Woman", he told me that what I was feeling was how he used to feel about superheroes when he was four. And how my brother felt about superheroes when he was six. I've been watching Iron Man Armoured Adventures and Justice League and reading Spiderman and Captain America comics with my brothers since I was old enough to understand the stories, and it's taken me until I'm seventeen to feel the same way they felt from the very start. Because as a girl growing up with Spiderman and Captain America and Iron Man and The Flash and Superman and Batman and Green Lantern, I never had what they had - a character I could identify with.
That's literally all it takes.
And that's fantastic that she motivates you to be a better version of you, because that's the point to motivate people to be their own hero and a hero to others. But it's not about gender or sjw, feminist and not the good kind of feminism, political rubbish that the films are becoming. Watch the Bat woman trailer, it's literally everything that this is not. So sad it's coming to this, watched superhero movies, cartoon and comics all my life. Wonder woman was always my favorite superhero after Batman, and it was about them being amazing characters and people with strong morals. And now it's about what gender they are, so disappointed. ....still got this film and they cant take that away
