Boys Like Girls was the very first band I ever fell head over hills for over 6 years ago, and the amount of respect I have towarda Martin is unreal. this new project sounds great. anyone knows if Boys Like Girls have split up or gone on hiatus though?
Garrett Scroggs totally agree. I mean i like how they're going for an overall different kinda vibe but certain songs are crying out for real live drums imo. This one the chorus deserves to be HUGE, it's almost but not quite.
He clearly used programmed drums on purpose to jar the listener. Everyone has heard the live version and they’re used to it, so he’s just trolling all of us by using samples instead of live. I like it, it’s def not the live version.... but I kinda feel like if every song had the same live drum sounds, it would get boring.
