My favourite parts were the ones that felt more like a conversation than an interview like when they told about how they threatened Ash to join their band
So weird to see them in a professional interview setting, cramped on a ruby backdrop, but professional lol.
The interviewer did an amazing job! Very good conversation flow. You never know with these indie bands whether its going to be pleasant or unbearably awkward.

Dude I can't believe I got to see how exponentially Wilbur has grown since 2019. Crazy to have been on this journey since what feels like is so long ago. Really proud of how far Lovejoy has come and the history they're making. Thinking about the days I would just spend refreshing my TH-cam feed to see a new Wilbur single release and when Lovejoy dropped their first song, Taunt featuring Georgenotfound in the music video. It's been a wild ride, and I look forward to see the future of Lovejoy and it's members

@@mikado_m Ash not speaking is absolutely a bit when he appears on twitch streams. Him with James Marriott is a good example. He might have situational mutism, dont actually know, but he'll find ways of communicating and cracking jokes without speaking and it's a great time, the fans all love him

for those who dont know, ash doesnt speak! they arent over shadowing him
I think he does, he's just quiet and doesn't really like talking on cam, like that's his whole thing in his vlogs and stuff
but there's clips of him speaking out there!
but yea they def aren't overshadowing him, if anything I think they're trying to make him more comfortable, which is super sweet
He does speak just not in the public like on streams, videos and stuff. He talks to his friends though and if you meet him in person he will talk to you

Yeah he speaks irl (I met him before it was so cool) but he chooses not to speak on camera.
i remember being on the stream wilbur said he would one day want to make a band, then when he said he had some people together, then when he said he had a name, it’s so crazy to see how far they’ve come i couldn’t be more proud
i haven’t watched the whole video yet but it’s really cool to see them here. as an early fan of them i’m proud of how far they’ve come this year!
it feels like literally yesterday they were finally releasing their first ep !! I remember playing it on repeat for hours, and I think I might do the same with their next album ! keep being a bodacious and likeable band. (and don't forget to keep up the concrete work !! ♡)
i remember sobbing the moment it came out... well sobbing and screaming and smiling it was just. I just waited for so long for that ep to drop then it did.
I remember being there the day their first album came out. Really proud of them and I'm so happy they're getting so far.

i also absolutely adore lovejoy and their music, ive been one of the many who've been around hearing progress about how 'are you alright?' was coming along before the bands name was even released. its crazy to see them grow and im glad ive been here to see it happen and continue.
wilbur was referring to the song Concrete when the host asked what song do they reccomend, not describing the band lol

i remember at the beginning 95% of lovejoy listeners initially came to support wilbur from dsmp/mcyt, but im glad they're actually starting to go more mainstream, so proud of them !!

Started listening to iHeart and going to their festivals when I was 14, started keeping up with Wilbur’s (the tall ones) content since 15- I’m 19 now and it’s crazy to see how far he’s gotten and Lovejoy is stellar! I saw them at their first US show in NYC and they were brilliant, best gig I’ve ever gone to. 1000% recommend these boys.
