Stoopid decision. It’s clear that Luxury Bazaar is not doing well due to the watch market. So they are keeping the hard nosed sales guys and leaving the knowledgable assets of the company to go elsewhere
Hey Pete ..Good luck & Best wishes pal...loved watching u doing restorations of watches..subscribed & 👍...LB lost an asset..people like me.. like Real People like u pal... onwards & upwards from Sunderland 🇬🇧
They lost the one guy with any degree of technical expertise- so glad Peter is doing his own thing now- subscribed! Most of those guys know tweo things about a watch and that's it- the reference number and hgow much it cost. They can't even regulate a watch but call themselves "watch experts".
Chris, Dave, Nick, you.......THAT many sales pro's let go by a company means it no longer has achievable goals. Clearly LB, similar to rest of the grey market, is hurting badly at the moment. The solution to adverse market conditions NEVER is to demand your sales team to put in identical results versus the good times.
You have knowledge and skill that Adrian and Co could only dream of having. Skilled craftsmen like you are fewer & fewer in numbers and they're going to feel that burn!
Good luck Peter, I could see that LB was getting very toxic. Chris, Nick, Dave and now you. Who's next? Not to mention I offered a watch to LB for sale and couldn't believe how poorly they handled the interaction. With that I knew for sure something is very wrong. It's a net positive for you, all the best!
New subscriber here! Sorry to see you leave LB. I appreciate the explanation but it still seems like there was or is still something else that caused you to leave. Best of luck in the next chapter of your career!
I offered LB SEVERAL sub $10 k watches. And there's zero hate here, but they were never interested, though they were always interested in my standard rolex etc stuff. Watches I sold with ease to many other people. Omegas with an easy $700 margin. Vintage stuff with easily $800-$1200 margins. Rare Seikos etc. But it seemed if it wasn't a rolex or modern Omega at those prices they never bought. They could have bought dozens and dozens of different/lesser known types to sell to newer customers but they would never buy them. They constantly told me (Marco usually) they are "too hard to move" yet I could move them in less than a week every time, and I just do it for fun. There's a shit ton of margins on the lower ends watches because you get way more opportunity to buy for less. Sure 10% on $100k is nice. But I can sell 10 watches for $500-$1k margin way faster. I just sold am Omega Chrono from the 80s for a $900 profit in a DAY to a MAJOR player in the game, LB didn't even want to offer lol.
If the profits are so good and easy to move why are you bothering trying to sell to someone who has to make a mark up and have a bigger operational costs. Difference is their operating costs are far higher than small traders
Promise when you grow a successful company you invest it into yourself and other employees over an F1 car and overpriced Pop Art garbage (supreme, etc)

You were my favorite person on their channel. I’m sure a lot of people can agree. Good luck and God speed
Definitely going to miss people like peter on the LB show. He was the last person left that still made the show interesting. Hope to see more of him elsewhere!
Can’t wait for some more videos. Luxury bazaar was only a stepping stone.
Stoopid decision.
You were the only guy on the team that brought something different to the table, and your knowledge and experience of taking apart and fixing watches was enjoyable to see, a heck of a lot more than some of the guys who were either flexing on their (lack of) watch game, or kissing a** of those in charge.
Good Luck in whatever you do next bud.
Totally there loss! I had a feeling when he posted they were hiring a watchmaker that you were not there. I loved watching because of you’re knowledge. You are going to do great!!!
I have absolutely zero doubts that you will be successful on this new journey. You are already incredibly knowledgeable and have all the experience of the industry you need. I Always enjoyed you on Luxury bazaar. Incredibly likeable. Surprised that they let you leave. But sometimes it’s a perception thing. Have subscribed to your channel 👊🏻
Holy crap! I'm shocked! I wish you luck in your future endeavours.
Thank you so much!
You were hands down one of the best sales people there. Good luck
Mannn thank you🙏🏻
As soon as I saw a recent post from LB searching for a “watchmaker” I thought of this being the case…long story short, they f****d up on this decision for sure…You’re better off on your own P, keep going 💪🏽
With the skills you have fixing and servicing watches, plus selling watches I Think you will do very well for yourself👍🏻
I think in the near future leaving LB will be the best thing you could have done for yourself.
Wow a Peter was rock star at LB! Sales and watchmaking wtf Roman?
my man appreciate the kind words! thanks
Was sad to see this at first because you were my favorite on Luxury Bazzars channel. NOW i’m more excited to see you on your journey!
Really good content. Take it slow and don’t do anything you aren’t completely comfortable with. Best of luck!!!
Hey Peter. You’re the man. I appreciate your content. Keep up the good work. You’re a man of integrity and theres nothing more important. Sometimes these things happen for the better.
Thanks, will do!
Really enjoyed watching you on LB. Good luck with whatever you go on to do and achieve.
Appreciate it David
Loved when you joined LB, will continue to do so with your new stuff!
My guy, let’s go thank you!
@@Peterpic how do I reach out about a watch I am looking for?, a little older SS Submariner around 10K. Let me know :).
Make more videos about buying sellin and restoring
Big love to you Peter! Subscribed and can’t wait for your watch content!
Peter I have a old Rolex Dj36 I’d like to get serviced by you if possible. It hasn’t kept good time since my grandfather gave it to me. How do I get this process started? Thank you
Best of luck Peter! Dual roles are always difficult to balance. Very typical for a small business owner to think … hey I can get two for one. Not realistic. Love the Positive attitude.
it was a juggling act for sure ! but i tried all i could do at the end of the day thank you for the kind words and support!
Peter - you were the only ione at LB who understand how a watch works, and what to look for when verifying the piece.
.
I've loved Peter since day one. An outstanding asset to LB. One of the main guys I look out for on the channel. I would have paid him what he wanted. An all-rounder. Wish you nothing but all the best going forward. Subbed.
Respect. Your response was total class. Showed so much confidence and humbleness .
Alex is 💯% next sales person out the door and Marco would have been a huge part of you leaving L.B, I know you'd have a gag order but that's my opinion 😂😂
Also yes your fire restoration vid was really good im sure you'll get alot of work just from that alone
there is no way roman lets alex leave, If he does he its gonna be a big big issue for both the show and there relationship
@@chrisb-nf7iy🎉🎉🎉
Sorry to hear that you left Peter. How does one get in touch with you? I have my eye on a new watch and I could use your help sourcing it for me, especially since the prices on it are all over the place! Thanks, and best of luck on the new journey
The best ep of Avi's podcast was your ep. Good luck with your future endeavors Peter.
oddly enough.. mine to i had a rage of passion in that pod, made me reminisce of when i first started. and thank you !!
Peter is the man! I will definitely reach out to you instead of LB for next watch purchase. Just subscribed as well. Keep it up
Big confidence! You can do it man, very proud of you!
The more video’s you post about repairing the better 😊 best of luck to you.
I don’t normally comment on TH-cam videos but hopefully this helps the algorithm put you out there.
Your talented and have a passion keep going your very easy to watch and entertaining !!!
LB made a big mistake
Where do you show what watches you have ?? Thanks , John
LMAO, the Grey market is D E A D. Get the Toe Tags yo. LB Sales Staff are dropping faster than Whoalex prices.
It’s not dead. Not by a long shot, what’s dead is people absolutely crushing the public on pricing.. there’s one reason I’ve always been able to sell wholesale & to retail end users it’s all about pricing small margins, large volume everyone’s happy🤷🏻♂️
@lucabrasi9987you definitely can’t afford a g shock with that spelling
@@MikeeJoness956 If the Wist Watch Market wasnt Dead , this dude would still be at LB yo. Lots of markets have been dead before and some come back and some stay dead. Take the Real Estate market , its been dead and comes back all the time. The Mortgage Refi booms and busts come all the time with interest rates drop or rise etc etc. Car market Booms and busts , you name it
Best of luck to you! You seem to have a good head on your shoulders and I’m sure you’ll land on your feet easily!! 🎉🎉🎉
Thank you 🙏🏻
Wow I saw Chris post a video with the same title like 3 months ago, Then just in the last month I noticed Dave is leaving Luxury Bazaar. Didn't Nick leave this year too?
Now that Peter is moving on this is madness. I remember Alex talking about his mental health and he did seem quite different from the Alex 1 year ago. I have a funny feeling Roman and Adrian are not the nicest guys to work for. All the best Peter, your restore video of that burnt Rolex was unreal & I'll always remember it. Good Luck
One door closes another one opens… time to show your talent on a standalone basis. I think you will benefit a lot more this way. Good luck
Bro you're a legit horologist from this side of my screen and you do it with love!
You can't teach that. You'll never look back! ....And JUST in time for the holidays🙂
Yes sir🤣 I appreciate that a lot!! Thank you
Good luck on your next chapter in your career. Looking forward to your future videos.
It’s clear that Luxury Bazaar is not doing well due to the watch market. So they are keeping the hard nosed sales guys and leaving the knowledgable assets of the company to go elsewhere
This guy was the most technically knowledgeable member of the team in LB
Hey I love that you're doing your own thing 🤘
Good luck Peter! I'm going to have you source my next vintage watch!
Hey Pete ..Good luck & Best wishes pal...loved watching u doing restorations of watches..subscribed & 👍...LB lost an asset..people like me.. like Real People like u pal... onwards & upwards from Sunderland 🇬🇧
Thank you Kevin! Appreciate that🤌🏻🙏🏻
I mean 2 ..3..up to £1m watche...that is is Lottery money to 95% of viewers...too many 🍻🍻 Pete🥴😂😅😅😅😅
Will be doing business with you for sure in the future. All the best to you
Good luck dude. You got what it takes to go to the next level and beyond.
They always have been, they just masked it with likeable new faces... who one by one they chew up and spit out
honestly You're the biggest reason i subscribed to Luxury Bizarre glad you made a separate channel
I' ve found myself moving away for Luxury Bazaar. Tha Arrogance exhibited there is shameful.
They are insane for parting ways with you. You always made the best content for them.
It’s alright, now you guys get the good stuff from the source🤷🏻♂️
Promise when you grow a successful company you invest it into yourself and other employees over an F1 car and overpriced Pop Art garbage (supreme, etc)
lets hope i get there haha, im still a JDM guy at heart but financial stability is the number one thing controlling my life was raised on those belief's no matter how big i make it my cheap a*s doesn't allow me to buy stuff.
