Taj shows his lack of knowledge on his religion. Some one who talks as he does with that accent then believes he is indigenous British shows the guys a true nutter. But however what he says about delaying the prayer is true and also if the child chooses to go to a school with this set rule they should abide by it. I'm Muslim by the way. Making threats to teachers is just disgusting I raise my kids to treat their teachers regardless of faith, colour or gender with the same respect they would to me and their mum. I do say though if the kids want to relax by taking 5 mins to prayer in the yard why stop them, better that then them smoking behind shelters or walking around thinking they ten men. Humbling one self to God teaches humility but again if its the schools rules kids must abide by them.

It is always parental and peer pressure. Happens all over the Western world. In Canada, an Indian Muslim who did not wear a hijab was so harassed by the other Indian Muslim lady that the victim had to go and tell the boss. The boss intervened and stopped the intimidation.

However, I read this morning that the legal fees were covered by activists, but please don't relay on that.

the children or not when enrolling at year 7. This head teacher is one who I would have loved to work under.
She’s a leader and single minded and has a vision and won’t be threatened by these appalling people who
feel the need to dictate the education agenda in our schools to cause maximum disruption to the majority

have been given encouragement by our weak and impudent government.

Could not agree more, I taught in four secondary schools (1980/90s) in Derbyshire, one multicultural and such madness, i.e. political correctness and Muslim Imams more and more being given the authority by the local DEA to come in and make such realistic demands - led to me going back to work in industry. I truly hope your statement "surely we are starting to push back against these crazy people" will be the case, but sadly we now have far TOO MANY of them especially in senior positions, i.e. Sadiq Khan plus as we are seeing with Palestinian protests I doubt we can control them and keep our own cultural identity.

You can make up for them later in the day! As kaza prayer. Omg this really gets on my nerves when such individuals go round demanding such changes. Just move to saudi or some place then. In isss lam it says you respect and live by the law of the land which your on.so if in uk at least respect the rules.dont care if certain individuals come at me.its true and it dont make me a "bad" musl iim.
