AREA 51 FROM TIKABOO PEAK PART 1 (THE BASE IS VERY ACTIVE)

- Area 51 from Tikaboo Peak the base is very active. A great look into Area 51 just as the snow stopped.
I never wanted to go on Tikaboo Peak or the mountain I found myself on last year. To get the best video, and pictures of Area 51 out there. It's about me laying my eyes on the base, and getting my own video, and pictures. I do feel the weather had a lot to do with the great shots I was able to get. Between the snowstorms, and clouds the base would just illuminate long enough for me to film, and take pictures.
This video isn't just a bunch of pictures laid out in a slideshow due to the distance, and the camera bouncing a hundred feet up, and down. I made a special ball bearing head on my tripod which worked great.
There was no way for me to pack all the footage in one video. So a part 2 is coming, and maybe even a part 3. Also I'm trying everything to shorten my videos.
Honesty is not shown enough on TH-cam. On the last video of Sean, and I hiking up to Tikaboo Peak we got every terrible comment in the book. I wanted to show the good, but especially the BAD. On TH-cam people do not like to look bad, but we were willing to look bad. If that video helps one person that is about to hike Tikaboo. Then the video was a success! We had the best rescue crew in Nevada a satellite message away because Alamo does not have a rescue helicopter. Even if everything went wrong, and the satellite stopped sending messages. We could have easily survived for days up there even though we could hike down either way in a couple hours.
Also if your interested in Area 51, the Nevada Test Site, the Mafia, and so much more. Look up George Knapp who I have had the pleasure to talk with many times. He put Area 51 in everyone's living rooms through television.

@@monsterrr1999 they are not working they are millitary personnel like sergeant soldiers, some generals and so on. Government wouldn't let for just citizen to work there.

Swarovski spotting scope on a tripod would zoom in great, but irregardless, some of the best amateur video and stills ever posted for public view. Outstanding Christian 👍
Perfectly put! I tell so many people that I am the most amateur photographer out there. Though I've seen videos from Tikaboo where the camera is bouncing hundreds of feet up, and down, and they were using a tripod. If I would have had a hydraulic head on my tripod it would have been terrible. Thank you

Ofcourse it's active. They have a lot of aircraft to test for the US Military. I can't wait for them to issue a declassification so we can see what they've been testing. I'm from the UK but I think America has some beautiful military aircraft. The Blackbird was magic (:

@@gummotey2354 - Not really. I think it's just a testing site for prototype air craft. Conspiracy theories are great fun, but it's hard for me (personally) to take them seriously.

Great video! Next investment would be a tripod so you can full zoom without the camera moving and going out of focus. Still appreciate the work that went into the video
Paul it was on a very good tripod. Look at other vids where the camera is bouncing hundreds of feet up then hundreds of feet down.

Thank you, and I'll try my best to get it out soon. This is where I wish I was an actual youtuber, and didn't have a job. Then I could edit videos a lot quicker. These videos are hard because I have so much footage that it's incredibly hard to pick what to put in.

There is mountains on the southwest side where you can see Papoose Lake, and the very south side of area 51. Its just a dry lake, and I would get endless comments saying it's not Papoose. I have another area planned. Thank you

I don't blame him for snapchatting either. I just wish he had to go through what I did just once. Calling a girl, and getting her Dad who enjoys drilling you with questions before he let's you talk to his daughter. Kids have that so easy now, and they don't even text them it's all Snapchat now.

This video definitely deserves a thousand likes! What a wonderful video! What a wonderful channel! But please keep the camera still by using a tripod and zoom in. Once in awhile move it left and right and keep it still again for another area close up.

good video, got to see some movement on the base as well as some clear shots, the only thing is when you zoomed on the first building instead of panning left I would have paned right to show more of the base over there while I had a clear view, but still a good video

One tip, when you’re filming that kind of distance away you can knock off the autofocus and focus to infinity. That’ll stop the autofocus issues. Everything you want to capture is at infinity focus anyway.

This is the best camera footage I've ever seen so clear
How much would it be to get the best zoom camera available this, the best zoom, and how much closer would the video be. You might want to look for a used total station, its what Surveyor's use the get incredibly close shots.. by far the best ive ever seen. Topcon, and Zeiss i think are really good.

Outstanding ;). I don't have that camera but do use my SX60 on tripods for 65x optical and on into the max digital zoom. I have tried finding any advantage to turning OIS off while on a tripod with fast shutter speed but for video I see no real advantage. What I do wonder is if you used a circular polarizing filter on the camera (if available) if it would remove some of the haze effect and sharpen things up a bit? Failing that if your tripod has a hook underneath you might try putting some rocks in a bag to anchor it down low a bit more, might make focusing a little easier? Also you may be able to use a phone app or an optional BT remote to do hands-off video/pics and zooming.
Funny you said about the bags of rocks because I welded on a hook, and did that. Yes a filter would help, but I wanted it to look raw just like our eyes see it. Thank you for the good tips!!!
Was the video done with a Nikon P1000 ? Is there a manual focus option that you could put on infinity ?

1. Where are the border gates in relation to Tikaboo Peak ?
2 Where was Freedom Ridge in relation to Tikaboo Peak?
That hike up was worth the effort
Hi, I always read every comment. If I was by a computer I could give you very close mileage. From Tikaboo to the base is 27 miles so to the main gate on Groom Mine Road would be about 18 which is a good guess. Freedom Ridge is right there, and you just have to look across Groom Lake. The hike up was 100% worth it, but I'm a fitness nut, and love to push my body. I'm still keeping up with my son who runs miles every week, and pitches in the low 90's. Though I can't take his fast ball anymore. Thank you
Just to add to that. I do not recommend anyone doing that hike because it is very dangerous. It's why I posted that video that I got so much criticism about. Others show it as rainbows, and pony's when its completely not.

Thanks to you i´m so curious about Area 51 and whats going on there and i am not talking about the alien stuff because i don´t care about that at all, I understand that some people likes that and belive in it but it´s not for me. I think it´s because all the secrets around the place, Camo dudes, Janet jet, sensors, cameras etc it´s just so interesting. Can´t wait for Part 2.
Your just like me then. I do get grouped in the alien side of area 51 which is fine. I feel the unidentified flying objects I've seen, and filmed are ours. Though listening to George Knapp for as long as I have really puts that question in my head at times. Thank you again.

They are great cameras, and there is a modification you can do to them to bring in more light, and further zoom.

I thought we had one of the largest prefabricated buildings as our shop at the mine to fit the massive equipment. It's tiny compared to that. I want to say there's a larger building you'll see in part 2. Thank you

S-4 is south west of there. That's where the real mystery is. Area 51 people don't even have the credentials for that area either. Just a few people have it(32).
They may also be testing direct fire laser weapons. Current fibre laser output is 30-50 megaWatts. They are aiming for 100-300 mW by 2022.

It was truly a miracle that happened so fast. I had already came to terms that we just did the hardest hike we've ever done, and were not going to see a thing. I probably would have stayed longer, but a larger snowstorm came, and snowed the entire way down. We left with some fantastic footage of a Janet jet landing, and taking off, and more. Thank you Christian

@@kwilde2387 you must've never tried to zoom that far on a video recording. Tripod isn't going to create stability at that range. Gimbal, maybe but still unlikely at that zoom without some $20k setup, but tripod? Lol good thing it wasn't you up there

This video “IS” the most still video of the entire Area 51 base you’ll see from a civilian up the top of a mountain 40k away that’s I’ve ever seen. He’s not a professional videographer but he’s damn near close to be one with this footage!
