Me: See a picture that doesn't belong to me, and the guy no longer behind the counter....leaves picture on counter and goes on my way.
Moral of the story, never take anything that's not yours.
As far as the guy from the photo lab was concerned, it was hers - it was on her negatives.
@@svt8376 Hmm...I thought the negative was not hers either, looked like there was more than one in the envelope. But anyway I was pretty much joking. Its a good simple flick with a punch.

Why did you think the negative wasn't hers?
It was made obvious that it "didn't belong" with the other 'frames' in the roll strip she was looking at.... But it still ended up on her strip.

Anyways, your take on it would make this short better.

And at least it wasn't a d pic.
And steal memories pieces of life costed her life
I really like the premise of „capturing someone’s soul with a photograph“ vibe here. But I think the girl wasnt picked randomly. She was the one cutting faces out in the beginning, the setting matches. In a way she removed the souls of the photos, so this is their revenge
That guy is going out of business soon since all his customers are dying… we all just going to skip over that?
Life must be so unbearable for you with that much "critical thinking" :D

After several days of ALTER binging I only got jump scared once and it wasn't even a jump scare scene it was genuinely effin creepy. But almost all of these ALTER shorts have BANGIN premises and underlying themes. They're so creative and I think I'm enjoying that part the most.

This short is a good old fashioned horror tale. It delivered the creeps by creating a sinister unease watching the lead.
The music is like a character in and of itself as it fits so well.
The photographs and negatives were utilized so effectively as a means of the horror in this story.
I see a cycle with that last reveal.
Sinister and creepy are perfect descriptions for this well crafted short.

It was weird that she was cutting out there faces only for her to end up like that
Maybe that means there always exists something bigger/more powerful than you
Or maybe that was a perfect ending for her as she loved that cut out faces and all the photos stuff - and became one of them

Hmm...She was collecting head pictures, but someone also was collecting heads. Maybe the film itself?

So this is about how film felt when it was quickly replaced by digital. Also, I find it disturbing that today I decided to watch this after helping my friend go through some of his late mom's stuff at her place and all the old photos I kept finding. Uncanny.
Honestly the part that gave me the most anxiety was that all of them only had their face cut out except for the lady at the beginning whose whole head was cut off
Well if u notice at 00:30 you'll see she isn't the only one with head being cut off

Great premise and a gory but understated death scene.
I enjoyed that, nice & simple but very effective. I didn't predict the ending so always glad to watch a classy idea with a twist, or a slice, well done.
This short is so awesome, it reminds me of a mix between Are You Afraid of the Dark and Twilight Zone. I love it ❤️❤️

Aaa how I used to do photography with out the supernatural mishaps although back in the day I did photograph some creepy abandoned places that would of been great settings for films like some of these...

Very nice 🎥 film...new age and different.I’m 67 year old man who’s grown with all kinds of horror. The exorcist is still the scariest movie I’ve ever seen. Not to say others did t scare me just that film hit the roof in horror. I still watch horror movies hoping to be scared like the exorcist...so keep producing films. Gr8 job.
Mike Ivy I'm 59 and I remember overhearing my mother on the phone saying that while she was reading that book, The Exorcist, she had to leave the lights on when going to sleep! My mother did NOT scare easily!

I was not to happy with this one. The direction was FANTASTIC, KUDOS FOR SURE but the story wasn't great. Maybe it was TO short but it just didn't capture me. Now the use of shadows, fuzziness and odd angles provided a sense if unease that helped the story immensely!
