As an Iraq and Afghanistan Vet, I connected to this song immediately. I was having some major anxiety issues and pushing everyone away when I first heard this song. I would usually put on the harder stuff by FFDP when I feel anxious, but this song hit me so hard and I connected with it so fast it became the song I would constantly turn on when those feelings would come back.
I love FFDP and Disturbed. Both have an incredible voice that soothes me so quickly and they're so great! \m/ Can you please make a song together? That would be so damn awesome!
I sorta disagree, I listen to the lyrics no matter what, but not just the lyrics the music in the lyrics that is have the emotion ivan put into the lyrics as he sang them.
Because part of the beauty of music is subjectiveness. I absolutely love death punch, but loving a band doesn't mean loving every song. Besides, which means more... Enjoying a song because it truly impacts you, or simply enjoying it because you don't feel you're a "real fan" unless you do...
Well.. Theyve run out of ideas.. Their first 3 albums were absolutely insane and were really out of the box with lyrics that were thought out well and seemed as if they cared about the quality of what they put out. Anything after that (with the exception of 2 or 3 songs off of wrong side of heaven pt. 1), sounds washed up and all the same with very cliche and mediocre lyrics that soind like an angsty 13 year old couldve written. Im not bashing them, im still a fan, i just know they can do better than what they did with the past few albums, this one included. This song isnt bad actually.. But its nothing compared to their other softer stuff like far from home, crossing over, walk away, ect
To be honest, I listened to country until 2 months ago. My mom passed away from her 5th cancer and 5 finger death punch was her favorite band. I now own all of their cds and cannot believe I have not heard of them before. I now have switched over to rock and five finger death punch is now my favorite band. My six year old son also misses his nana dearly but we sing at the top of our lungs to five finger death punch.

After multiple times of being turned down and rejected by women my mind went into a mode that idk if it will ever come out of. This song speaks to me on so many levels. Especially the lyrics "Ive always walked alone, I've chose the path less taken". Everyone has a story and most of the time the only ones that understand are the musicians who write songs like this one.

This song is amazing. Ivans voice is both powerful and peaceful at the same time and its very easy to believe what he’s singing about.
As an Iraq and Afghanistan Vet, I connected to this song immediately. I was having some major anxiety issues and pushing everyone away when I first heard this song. I would usually put on the harder stuff by FFDP when I feel anxious, but this song hit me so hard and I connected with it so fast it became the song I would constantly turn on when those feelings would come back.

Because part of the beauty of music is subjectiveness. I absolutely love death punch, but loving a band doesn't mean loving every song. Besides, which means more... Enjoying a song because it truly impacts you, or simply enjoying it because you don't feel you're a "real fan" unless you do...
Well.. Theyve run out of ideas.. Their first 3 albums were absolutely insane and were really out of the box with lyrics that were thought out well and seemed as if they cared about the quality of what they put out. Anything after that (with the exception of 2 or 3 songs off of wrong side of heaven pt. 1), sounds washed up and all the same with very cliche and mediocre lyrics that soind like an angsty 13 year old couldve written. Im not bashing them, im still a fan, i just know they can do better than what they did with the past few albums, this one included. This song isnt bad actually.. But its nothing compared to their other softer stuff like far from home, crossing over, walk away, ect

To be honest, I listened to country until 2 months ago. My mom passed away from her 5th cancer and 5 finger death punch was her favorite band. I now own all of their cds and cannot believe I have not heard of them before. I now have switched over to rock and five finger death punch is now my favorite band. My six year old son also misses his nana dearly but we sing at the top of our lungs to five finger death punch.
