This Cassia fistula ( Kani Konna flower) painting is done on a silk kota fabric using Camel Fabrica Acrylic paint. You can use any locally available fabric acrylic paint.
Colors used
White
Lemon yellow
Golden yellow
Scarlet lake
Sap green
Burnt sienna
Black
Synthetic Brushes
No 0 round
No 2 flat (Short bristle )
No 4 filbert(short bristle)
No 2 Flat Normal bristle
1 inch flat
Thin paint with right amount of water to prevent spread on fabric and to keep it as soft as possible after painting.
Iron on opposite side after 24 hours and wash after one week to fix colors.
Hand painted fabric care -
Dry clean and iron on opposite side.
Always try to hang hand painted fabrics on a cloth hanger
