I am so thrilled to have found this video of Pavarotti and Zucchero together for the benefit concert, even though I don’t understand the language! I have some other videos that Pavarotti does with many other popular singers and musicians, but I have to admit that I never even heard of Zucchero until now. He looks more like a rock or pop singer than the way he performs! I’ve downloaded this with my other Pavarotti videos with Elton John, BB King, Stevie Wonder, Clapton, and many more. All are phenomenal! I’m 67 years old now and was a classical pianist and organist since I was 5, but I haven’t been able to play due to arthritis in my hands and fingers for some time. This doesn’t prevent me from listening to various genres of music each day from the time I get up in the morning till I get ready for bed at night. (I’m single and retired, so nobody is around to watch and hear me singing and dancing around my house, playing ‘air piano’ as I go along!) Thanks for putting this on TH-cam for everyone to enjoy!

BTW: I bought tickets to see Zucchero this coming September at the Beacon Theatre in NY and am looking forward to seeing him perform live! Lately I’ve been giving Ticketmaster a lot of business! - 4 concerts in about 6 months, and I’m not ready to stop yet!

I was also able to get tic’s for Eric Clapton, also in Sept., and am going for the 2nd time to see Elton John in July (I saw him in Feb., but it’s his final tour, AND bc he’s an amazing entertainer, I couldn’t let the opportunity pass by!). I don’t understand either why Bono is not very well liked in Ireland. Although I know nothing about his lifestyle, I do like him and the different styles of music he plays and sings. He can go from being more a ‘rock-like’ to classical (i.e. Ave Maria with Pavarotti) musician, and not only sing but play the guitar (and if I’m not mistaken, other instruments as well) - not as well as Clapton or many others, but he’s not bad!
