U can also place his traps in the air when u jump, if u time it right it’s more effective as a zoning tool and as a projectile barrier, not to mention it’s WAY harder to see as an opponent
Whenever fighting people with projectiles use your barrier. It blocks projectiles and when they come in they take damage. Also place traps just in case someone comes in. While in there, spam your fire and roll. That's my key tip for Dabi. If you spam his barrier you can beat anyone.
also i got some more questions about the gameplay, what situations should u put ur traps down? i noticed u put them on downed people. should u put the traps down in the middle of a fight? in the middle of ring of fire? or like while u 1v1ing them? thanks
my fault imma bit late but you should be placing them as your fighting when people are chasing you in most instances because unless a move is armored they take damage and they get hard knocked down
I like that you do guides, but can you put quirk priorities at the start of the video instead of towards the end? and explain different gameplay style options for it, feel like that would easier to follow and play around.
Why the ring of fire before traps? The ring's edge is difficult to hit, and if you use it for protection you don't need a bigger ring. I think traps give him more advantage, they can K.O. someone down rather quickly and noncommittal. You can use it to fish for low-health enemies trying to get to bushes or houses. And finally, they can cover your retreat, by taking a hit for you if you put them on the air(actually not sure of this one) or simply damage the enemies that follow you. What do you think? I want to hear your opinion.
@@Numbdly Oh, then it's a good idea to level the AoE to compensate for Dabi's lack of mobility. I suppose that also depends on your team composition. Nice, nice. Thanks for your reply.
I love using his special action because Ive downed several people which is funny as hell. And its a good last screw you when you die. Also i feel like his traps don’t do as much damage as they should but maybe its cuz I’m new and don’t have a idea of how much damage is alot or a little. And dabi is not too great solo queing but maybe its cuz of new players not knowing how to play as a team properly. But thats just a hunch. One change i would like to see is his ring of fire stopping close range/melee fighters like ida from just running into it and bodying you. Because his close range defense is kinda bad but maybe thats a me problem. Its just really annoying getting downed because you couldn’t get a damn speed character off you.

I accidentally found out that if you get your color card it upgrades a random ability 😅
The color card has an "a", "b", or "y". That's the ability it levels up.

duly noted i gotchu.
If you go in the zones like hell zone use the traps in buildings if u get a enemy stuck in a building with you just destroy their hp
I KNOW WHAT YOU ARE! You are Ricky’s clone, project 999.

i forgot to include that in my video but you can actually trap in air and use the aoe simultaneously
and you should be putting traps everywhere not just in the middle of a fight because they never disappear unless you place more than 5
and bad mb for spamming but if you do the aoe and hit them once it pushes them to the outer part of the aoe
