well, that's a home run with that box...the Begleiter is a nice piece...love the frag pattern knives. and the Kansept is an absolutely gorgeous knife. i like the Kizer one more...i'm just a sucker for the simple style.
Both of those knives are absolutely gorgeous, in their own ways of course. I'd love to have both. They did well this month. I'm very tempted to throw money I don't currently have at this box as a result.
It was a pretty good bday box to get 😂 the Begleiter mini gets more time around the house in a loose pocket because the frag likes to cause problems on my pocket hems 😢 but it's hard to be sad about carrying timascus around 😂

I don't like the liners extending past the scales, either! A lot of fixed blades are doing it also. It seems lazy to me and I don't care for it at all!!
I hate liners that stand proud of the scales. One of many signs that I will hate a knife. And the knife was dull on top of that. Even worse. This is why I only buy USA made mid-tech or higher now. Expensive? Yes but well worth it. I've never had a bad CRK, PBK, Rmor, etc. I have had bad ZTs, Benchmades, etc. That Kansept is beautiful though

My guess for the bead would be a 304 stainless since it has a little weight and it's only slightly magnetic
