The video that made me fall in love with Stryper. I was 14, I had no idea they were all about god and jesus. I went out and bought To hell with the devil, Sodiers Under Command and Yellow and Black Attack. I listened to all the songs, many times over. I absolutely loved this band. I still had no idea what they were singing about. I loved the look and the sound. I am not a Christian person, I am actually Atheist. I still love and listen to Stryper to this day. I don't care about the message, I still love the band. I have seen them probably 6 times now in concert.

Stryper is the best sounding live band in metal.It is amazing how good there sound is and how tight there playing is when they play live.No other metal band comes close to sounding as good as Stryper does live.Even after all of these years Michael Sweet's voice is just as strong as it was.
I wen i lived in new jersey I was in my teens and I didn't know anything about God. But when I was this band came. I was blown away. That they had my hard rock that loved. With positive words. I just wanna say thanks to you guys, even if you’re not reading this. I’ve been trying to write some music for my church, and my iPad, which I was using to record everything, has been acting up. So, while I was trying to calm down, I ended up playing along to this song (at 70% speed, but still), and it really calmed me down. So, thank you, Stryper, for writing a song that, 34 years later, helped a 22 year old guitar player relax and not spike his iPad into the ground out of frustration. 😂

This was so nice to see again. Such an uplifting song. Thanks for the memories. I think this has an even bigger impact these days. Christians and (everyone pretty much) just don't have the right attitude these days. Everything is doom and gloom and not so many getting along in these complicated times. We need to get back to cranking up good music and having a good time and not what we don't have any more because we'll always have that.

If Styx were a Heavy Metal band in the 80s this is what they would sound like. Man that voice sounds so much like Dennis Deyoung and that is a good thing. Man, these guys can really sing. And I like power pop/glam metal or whatever the hell you want to call it but it is music with a pulse and a positive vibe. I can do without the awful fashion but this sounds great.
Her daughter just keeps getting furious when I am there now for the past(about 6+months)..Mom and I even went to church on our 2nd date I think it was..She cant handle her daughters anxiety issues, and I am not helping being there when she gets rialed up and jealous.Thinks I"m taking moms affection away"..(common prob with many relations w/kids).She"s been backing off from me and saying "its not going to work"..I left the keys to house/garage the other day"..She says she loves me...Very hurt!
