Kennedy Approach - Microprose (C64 VICE 50Hz no commentary)

This is one game of Kennedy Approach, the well loved air traffic control simulator released for the C64 and Atari 400/800 by Microprose in 1985. There were 16-bit ports made for Amiga/Atari in 1988, though those felt like they were missing something to me.
The first game starts at 0:45, progressing to the next level at 13:05. The demo plays at 28:00, which I allowed to play through twice before ending the recording.
The premise of Kennedy Approach is simple: direct all air traffic to its destination while avoiding any conflict situations - where aircraft are separated by less than 1000 ft vertically, or 3km horizontally. More than a minute of conflict situations will get you fired. (I should try it again, and lean towards delays more than risking conflict.)
Planes can be selected and directed entirely with the joystick. But you can also type the letter of the aircraft to immediately select it, no matter the position of the cursor.
It's possible to learn to play the game just by playing it. But a quick read of the instruction book will certainly tell you things you wouldn't know otherwise.
