you actually just blew my mind! i was overlapping notes this whole time and thought that was what legato was supposed to be and somehow my teacher looked past it

Thanks a bunch, Greg... It's funny how many people criticize the camera angle... which of course is centered on middle D and as close to the perspective of the player as I can get without putting an image stabilized camera in place of my eyeballs! Peace!
You literally just hit every other white key starting at the C and ending at the octave one at a time then backtrack the other way for the chorus. But instead of repeating at the C you glide your way down through other scales. The chorus is actually quite easy if you think of it like that. The rest is a little more difficult .though,
