You shouldn't lose so much rank if you're literally doing the maximum capacity of your role/character. Like if I'm out dpsing or out healing everything in the match and we still lose because of some bullshit like a leaver or a literal thrower, I shouldn't lose that much rank

I was 2% into Plat 1. I lost 1 game and went to 99% of Plat 3.... 1 game made me derank skip Plat 2 entirely. It's insane.

the biggest issue right now is since dps got that passive, literally every other role means nothing, if your dps are bad, youre fucked no matter how good of a tank you are.

that intro sold it for me lmao theres no way. i got like 30 hours on OW2 ive played TF2 for like 10 years and played it competitevely so i got that 6v6 expereience (even tho OW2 is 5v5) i got gold 1 on my placement matches on S9 and this is my first time playing Comp lol seeing everyone losing so much points is crazy. (DPS main btw)

Well season 9 completely caters to bad players and bad play. You can have double the enemy teams stats and still lose. This will go down as the worst patch ever once people have a better understanding of how fundamentally flawed the execution of the new ranked system/the game being non competitive and just a participation simulator.

I think they should just remove the upphill battle/expected/reversal, theres no reliable way for the game to know which team should win, so it just feels like rng everytime u get expected etc and reversal etc. Although they should let the player know if the current game is an expected win or not from the start, would make it feel a little less rng.
