Have really missed these tributes to Classic Italian exotica. You do them so well Petrolicious. Those comments regarding not letting a vintage sit too long. Just wonderful. Bravo!
Not in all cases I'd say, Giugiaro's effort with the 159 was terrific, just as good a design as his much earlier Alfas to my eyes, though not exceptional to drive. Cars like the Aston DB9, Ferrari 458, Pagani Zonda, Alfa 8c and Jaguar F type will be worthy classics for the history books, and we'll have forgotten about all the rubbish that's out today as it gets left behind. Every era has its classics and lemons, modern design looks terrific if you forget about the bad examples.
This is what I love to see in a channel. A connection between nostalgia, passion, and heart-felt connections that bring people together. Just can't find this sort of thing anywhere else. Good job, guys!
Martin was the best, we use to talk about old race cars and he always asked " Why didn't you call me for a ticket" when he saw me at one of his car shows...... Nice man and I am glad I got to meet and have many conversations with him
Great video as always. I feel like this is one of the few channels I comment on regularly. An Alfa of this vintage is high up on my list. These guys are very lucky to have each other to do all these things with. I thank the Lord everyday that my dad and I are so close and are able to experience everything the car world has to offer together.
Wow, those guys sure are lucky to be passed down such an incredible heirloom, yet their eloquence and humility in accepting their father's great gift is truly humbling. My hats goes off to the Swig brothers, please keep doing what you do.
The shots of the key turning the ignition in most of your videos never gets old. The moment of starting a dream car is just as good or better than getting on the throttle out of a corner.
Brings back memories! My first car, bought at the ripe old age of 20, was a 101 Sprint Normale, white like yours. I should have known something was up when while leaving the dealership in my new three year old car a hubcap fell off. That car began my love of Alfas, also taught me to deal with rust.
I love Alfas so much. The history of the company and how it died and was reborn numerous times is just enthralling. The racing history behind the company is also very exhilarating
These cars are so special, especially that styling on the Zagato! Unfortunately we have to worry about pedestrian crash standards which seems to get in the way of ideas. Here's a concept, watch where you walking! Great video and story again Petrolicious!
Fabulous journey. So easy to see how the Italian design was re-imaged in the Aston DB4 and the Aston Zagato. Such classic shapes of the time and still beautiful today. Easy to see how their father & mother would be so proud of their sons.
That's the same drive I take in my 240Z. I live in Marin, I head out that way and cut over from the coast when I feel like heading back. Nice drives out there, on a weekday you won't see many people.
"The worst thing you can do with an old car is let it sit. They decay, and they get sad and thier souls become empty. Things break and go wrong with them. Keeping things circulating, keeping things going and what not, shows the cars that you love them and they respond well to that...." - could not agree more
After a summer of UK rain .....dry California looks very appealing.....but maybe a British wet and grey moody car video is needed.....great cars and great film.
That relationship with the wheel and shift lever, the way the pedals encouraged heel and toe shifting was ideal. I've had many Alfas, no longer. Now it is a '16 Mazda MX 5 Miata, a great car but it doesn't have the relationship of controls that the old Alfas had. While driving it I think about the shift lever falling right to hand the way the Alfas did, there is something missing about the pedal placement the way the Alfa had perfected it.
+Ordinary Car Show I am not a native language speaker but I can fully understand the videos, instead of going around asking for subs in every video study and practice English.
Looks to be the coast highway, highway 1, Tomales Bay area? Very nice. As you go further north from Bodega Bay to Gualala the pavement gets less well maintained, and then up to Fort Bragg is a nice drive.
Unfortunately just driving a 2013 Giulietta which isn't carrying much of the legacy besides Rosso Alfa and the Scudetto, but its good to have people (outside FCA) that do keep this legacy alive.
Great video! Alfas are such fun cars. My uncles looks identical to the white one, video gave me the great nostalgic feeling watching having grown up with a car that looks so similar.
Great cars. Beautiful scenery. Who wouldn't want to drive round those roads? A popular modification in the uk is to transplant the 2.0 twin spark engine from the Alfa 75.
Nice collection of cars in their garage, including a nice 1950s Fiat 1100 with Ferrara (Emilia-Romagna) plates, parked next to a Alfa Romeo 1750 GTV,even a Ford Mustang
Your East Coast cousins are licking their chops - brings me back to Sears Point and other venues with Martin (a much-loved and missed guy, and a good driver, while a terrible mechanic)
This video felt like it was a bit too focused on the business the brothers run and their story. It's nice to have that in there but I care more about the cars in all honesty. The family history is nice and adds a lot but I'm here for the cars.
there is a giuletta for sale by me for $30k, is that overpriced? road legal but made for weekend racing (roll cages and racing seats), think its a good buy?
It's such a shame that Alfa stopped producing RWD cars until the modern Giulia Ti/Veloce which sadly offers no manual transmission and has robbed the modern generations of the pure Alfa Romeo experience.
Encore Bravo , pour vos superbes video,Little california roads look's as good as French "petites routes" you must come in France and reports French tour de France classic car tour
+François Pallud Entièrement d'accord! Il y a un excellent sujet "Bugatti" et un "Porsche" sur Petrolicius tourné en France, mais je crois que ce sont des exceptions, malheureusement...
Have really missed these tributes to Classic Italian exotica. You do them so well Petrolicious. Those comments regarding not letting a vintage sit too long. Just wonderful. Bravo!
The design back in the days was so much better than now
+Fred StapelbedTM It was more organic and purified and better in most cases.
Not in all cases I'd say, Giugiaro's effort with the 159 was terrific, just as good a design as his much earlier Alfas to my eyes, though not exceptional to drive. +Fred StapelbedTM can't really compare
yea all the extra "aero" and "safety reg's" of todays cars really brings the aesthetic down
This is what I love to see in a channel. A connection between nostalgia, passion, and heart-felt connections that bring people together. Just can't find this sort of thing anywhere else. Good job, guys!
You guys are just THE BEST. Every one of your videos makes me want to cry.
Martin was the best, we use to talk about old race cars and he always asked " Why didn't you call me for a ticket" when he saw me at one of his car shows...... Nice man and I am glad I got to meet and have many conversations with him

Thumbs up for this stunning video. Amazing how these passionate brothers see their cars as a living object with a soul instead of merely a machine.
The shots of the key turning the ignition in most of your videos never gets old. The moment of starting a dream car is just as good or better than getting on the throttle out of a corner.
Perfection, the guys who make these videos are a huge inspiration
the location....the cars... the shots... its all breath-taking..
Brings back memories! My first car, bought at the ripe old age of 20, was a 101 Sprint Normale, white like yours. I should have known something was up when while leaving the dealership in my new three year old car a hubcap fell off. That car began my love of Alfas, also taught me to deal with rust.
the rear of Giulia Zagato it's stunning. Excellent video!!
+uby80 Echoes of an Enzo mobile?
Sadly was only able to give the video 1 like. Stunning video!
+Race Fanatic make another account
+3Soul ENT lol
I love Alfas so much. The history of the company and how it died and was reborn numerous times is just enthralling. The racing history behind the company is also very exhilarating

Great video and story again Petrolicious!
THE IMAGERY, COMPOSITION, LOCATION IS JUST MAGNIFICENT
5:30 what a shot of a perfect driving scenery
Lovely video. I've owned 2 ALFAs a '72 GTV2000 and an '84 GTV6/2.5 and loved them both. Bravo!
May this Legacy be blessed for generations to come !
Great cars. Passionate and articulate owners. Spot on video conveying what so many of us love about the make and classic car ownership in general.
What a privilege to be able to use these cars as they were meant to be
You can make a movie with every Petrolicious video. Awesome histories and awesome cars
Great video and the their family bond and connection with Alfa is very special.
oh my god this is beautiful, those passion, those beautiful machinery and those shots are somehow very touching !
Love old Alfa Romeo. Beautifully shot video as well. Thank you so much.
Fabulous journey. So easy to see how the Italian design was re-imaged in the Aston DB4 and the Aston Zagato. Such classic shapes of the time and still beautiful today. Easy to see how their father & mother would be so proud of their sons.

BeautifulI don't understand how could anyone thumb down these videos
just pure passion !!! Alfa forever , never ever another brand :)
Nothing short of gorgeous. A video whose beauty is beyond words. ALFA: Always Looking For Another.
You are amazing, your dad would love it! Please send more vids. Got 2 alfas and love both!
“Develop a nostalgia of youth by driving these cars”.. you got it
what a speculator film to share such a great automotive passion
that i am sure we all have that follow this channel.. well done!
Loved our Alfas, especially on those runs up the Coast!
"The worst thing you can do with an old car is let it sit. They decay, and they get sad and thier souls become empty. Things break and go wrong with them. Keeping things circulating, keeping things going and what not, shows the cars that you love them and they respond well to that...." - could not agree more
I have to admit. There was a point when i just wanted them to shut up and take me out in that Zagato for a spin.
After a summer of UK rain .....dry California looks very appealing.....but maybe a British wet and grey moody car video is needed.....great cars and great film.
My mid-life crisis car will probably be some classic Alfa, definitely not a Corvette or Porsche.
I read your post after 4 years: in the end have you grande the wish?

How you don't have a million views on every video is beyond me. Never stop
It would be great if you could add subtitles. Because sometimes it's a bit complicated to understand (for people whose native language is not english)
+Ordinary Car Show i think that option is availble for you! just click on CC .
+Ordinary Car Show I agree ! Or at least, give us the opportunity to add subtitles in the language we want.
+Ordinary Car Show the car sound needs no translation
+tautaudu02 I think I understand better than automatical subtitles =)

truly emotive story. great scenery and drone work.
Great video! Alfas are such fun cars. My uncles looks identical to the white one, video gave me the great nostalgic feeling watching having grown up with a car that looks so similar.
Brilliant!!!! Simply brilliant mini docs by Petrolicious.
You could always tell an Alfa by the sound. Fantastico!
"the worst thing you can do with an old car is let it sit"
Amen. When you have such nice roads in your back yard, it would be a crime not to use them!
Great cars. Beautiful scenery. Who wouldn't want to drive round those roads? A popular modification in the uk is to transplant the 2.0 twin spark engine from the Alfa 75.
Beautiful story, beautiful cars.
Thank you, story was awesome like always!
l love this Channel!!!
So astute. :D Very succinct without being cold. So nice to see that.
Nice collection of cars in their garage, including a nice 1950s Fiat 1100 with Ferrara (Emilia-Romagna) plates, parked next to a Alfa Romeo 1750 GTV,even a Ford Mustang
beautiful video. wish my dad was this much into cars
the red one is just cute. there is no other word for that car.
this channel simply has the best thumbnails
Love the end about how cars have souls and have to be running all the time :D
Just beautiful. Petrolicious makes the most amazing videos.
Una lastima que haya gente que no disfrute viendo estas joyas en fin y me encanta los Alfa antiguos
They get it. Another great one Petro!
Beautiful spirit,cars, and people

Your East Coast cousins are licking their chops - brings me back to Sears Point and other venues with Martin (a much-loved and missed guy, and a good driver, while a terrible mechanic)

Petrolicious is the best car show everrrrr!!!! The second one is Road Kill .... I know, very different. But both are spontaneous.
Again , nicely done , thanks !
Guys, how do u shoot so beautiful, when I watch your videos I am always teleporting to this stunning roads and drive into the sunset..
Every Alfa hides a very interesting story behind
Awesome collection of cars! I'd give anything to be able to have a collection like that. :)
Fantastic landscapes! Where was this shot?
Colorado I think
+Henry Kincaid but aren't they from California. That's what I got from the California labeled stickers from the side of the Veloce.
+Daniel Sandoval they are from California but the plates say Colorado and the landscape is more similar to col than Cali. Could be wrong though
+Henry Kincaid oh, okay then. I just assumed that is all. But Colorado of California, these cars are beautiful no matter what.
+jippalippa It looks to me like maybe Marin County in California. Both cars have a Cali plate on the rear.
bravi,le 2 Giulia sono in buone mani.
This video felt like it was a bit too focused on the business the brothers run and their story. It's nice to have that in there but I care more about the cars in all honesty.
The family history is nice and adds a lot but I'm here for the cars.
"The beautiful thing is that the cars will outlive all of us..."
It's GIULIE-T-T-A - not freakin' GIULIEDA, damn it. Stunning driving machines!
The cinematography reminds me of Kubrick.
there is a giuletta for sale by me for $30k, is that overpriced? road legal but made for weekend racing (roll cages and racing seats), think its a good buy?
It seems it's really affordable, depending from its conditions
What's the name of the soundtrack from 7:20 onwards?
Very nice
Great stuff!
complimenti a voi ragazzi due bellissime auto, w alfa romeo
this is impossible! the... the title isn't in the standard format?! O:
wish alfa could come back to the Us asap (i mean with a complete range of cars)
04:39... What model is it on the top with grey color..?
+Akio Haru Goro (日本人) I am fairly certain that it is from the 1900 series.
+jburning17 so damn cool man..
Awesome.
It's such a shame that Alfa stopped producing RWD cars until the modern Giulia Ti/Veloce which sadly offers no manual transmission and has robbed the modern generations of the pure Alfa Romeo experience.

It's fuckin' beautiful.
Holy shit this dude got his degree in yapanomics
With italian cars , you forgot to mention lancia and lamboghini
What? No HD mode?
+Artur Kwaszyn TH-cam sometimes takes a while to process the HD
ZAGATO!
You'd think he would get rid of the residue on the doors of the red one and maybe even remove the stickers on the white one. Ruins the look...
4:42 A Millecento with period Ferrara plates In California!Shouldn't they have been handed in?Repro?
