A couple things I noticed after watching a few times! -The reason why Mager didn't attack (and looked so distraught) is because Mai's injection worked, seemingly after a few attempts considering it's called "Mager 9" -There's constant jellyfish imagery throughout, especially around Iris -Mager being unable to use his abilities seems to be triggering memories of Iris, which makes me think the injection messes with the mind more than the body -The symbol in Halo's eye is a diamond most of the time but becomes an hourglass when she talks to Mager, then back to a diamond when she starts crying -Halo is incredibly upset after the situation, possibly linked to why she's so against the government You did an amazing job, Chip, the animation and all the editing is absolutely beautiful!

Personally I only started watching you since 2020 but damn- you've improved ALOT. It was like the piggy animation meme was released only yesterday. Ok so after watching this for a few dozen times I finally calmed my nerves and took a closer look towards all the minor details and I just say that the amount of effort put into this is really astounding. The animation is very fluid and it's not just the movements of the characters. The characters have complex designs yet their hair, eyes and clothes are very beautifully animated, and the expressions are extremely vivid. Also, the backgrounds are also moving alongside the characters which must be very complex to do. It's also amazing how you can animate the movements in such an expensive way (take the way Doughnut struggles against Lain's fabric, or the way Halo was dancing.) The lighting and shading is also really epic!! It must have taken a very long time to do the shading for all the scenes. Also, the scenes that flash past are sick! The jellyfish is animated so realistically and it must have taken a lot of dedication to draw and animate it's stingers. A lot of comments already say this, but I'll say it again. I really appreciate the amount of effort put into this video! You're a true inspiration for the rest of us! I'm not sure if I missed any points (I lost track of writing lmao), but I just say that you really deserve a lot of attention!! This is amazing and really eye opening. Thank you for making this wonderful piece of animation!! (Ps: I didn't mention the editing/after effects because I don't have any experience so idk what to say, but it's also very well done!)
I'm guessing that from the lore so far, the test subjects are meant to forget their human lives but somehow it didn't affect Iris (Halo) and Mager gets trigger flashbacks everytime he sees her knowing that she abandoned the hero league. And with Mai's sedative, it just suppressed his powers. So Halo is probably upset in scene 1:51 that he's working in the government that tortures humans.
It always makes my heart flutter a little whenever I see former gacha creators, who's videos I watched as a kid, continue to grow as animators or storytellers. So glad that you're still going after so many years!❤
I love the concept of: the government creating heroes, which, in theory, was supposed to be a good thing, but they do it in the most villainous way possible, because they kidnap people, use them as guinea pigs (and the experiments that fail they are probably must "discard" = ☠) they must not be treated 100% well, and on top of that they lose their memory. Now with that explanation you gave in the description, I understood the older videos (because of the battle between Kittypop and the pink bunny, for example)
This video has some serious lore content, but like, I love how the characters interact with each other. Like, Donut trying to fight Mager when he's basically having a mental breakdown and Lain be like: "CALM DOWN", this isn't even the first time we see them interact this way, just hilarious. This is some really great world-building ngl.
My god this is so beautiful! I love the scene and all the dynamic cameras holyyyyy. Wait, I just noticed that the part Donut got held back is super reminiscence to the first fight animation you did about a year ago! Aaaaaaa
after MANY TIMES of rewatching, i could finally understand some of what the characters were saying ! when mager was crying/yelling at halo, i could make out a "please" but nothing more. the camera shaking didn't help /nm. when donut got angry and pulled out her pole, she said "that son of a bitch" referring to mager. i have a hard time reading lips from side profiles, especially when characters are moving, but afterwards i believe she said "you won't get away" while trying to attack mager. also, no matter how many times i tried, lain made no sense to me, mainly because donut kept squeezing his face trying to get released from his grasp (though i'm assuming he said something like "no need to attack, he is too weak"). and finally, when mai showed up, she said "so it worked" referring to the shot she gave mager so his powers could be weakened this was an incredible watch ! can't wait for more aninations and lore to come ❤
Your sheer skill and improvement is- I don’t even know if there are words to describe how amazing this is! It’s fully animated, colored, shaded for MULTIPLE SCENES with different lighting, the backgrounds are so detailed I could probably spend a paragraph analyzing them in their own, and the TRANSITIONS!! God, I can’t even imagine how long this took, it’s impressive and gorgeous and a wonderful form of storytelling :D

I would like to point out another thing or two that I’ve noticed! (Sorry if I repeat anything) - in the beginning, it seems that Mager has tried or did levitate Iris/Halo - in the city scene, you can see all sorts of graphics of the heros (0:29) one showing Mager carrying someone and another of Gray(? Kind of unsure) - at 1:35 Lain’s jacket is moving. He seems surprised so I’m assuming it’s Mai passing him as she’s invisible - I love how the villains are comforting each other at the end. It could maybe give a reason why some heros might become villains (they might have felt alone and unappreciated as a hero) - also, Lains ribbons remind me of the tentacles of a jellyfish - maybe the sedative that Mai used reminds Mager of a jellyfish sting? As the jellyfish appears a lot as he’s trying to use his powers at the end - I love how the villains are able to fight well together (Lain pulling Mager in so Donut can punch Mager) - I wonder if Iris is able to make her victims relive parts of their past to weaken them (as soon as Mager starts getting flashbacks, he’s unable to really fight) I’ve watched this video so many times! You really inspire me! I’m making more art and I’ve animated something for the first time in months! You’re such a talented person and I pray that God blesses you in your art journey!

Despite the fact the injection worked and all…judging from the description, Mager never even wanted to attack Halo/Iris. He only tried to attack fully (despite the injection) when Lain’s ribbons started coming.

I AM JUST SO LOST FOR WORDS MY MOND IS ABSOLUTELY BLOWN OH MY G O D. THE LORE??? THE IMPROVEMENT?? AND THE EFFORT OMGJAKDN every single second has so SO much detail put into each scene the animation, expressions and body language of each of oc really being them all to life and make them so unique from eachother they add onto each scene, really giving that tense atmosphere from each scene, from the fights to the flashbacks, everything has so much detail and through how it’s all animated, even tho they don’t speak, the story could still be followed really easily the lighting also adds such a nice touch as well, making the flashbacks feel so light and airy and also helping craft that tense atmosphere everything just flows so smoothly from each second to the next too you also synced the music and vibes together perfectly visually and story wise too also the EFFORT AND IMPROVEMENT ASJDKSJ frame by frame still oh my god it’s just incredible how much you’ve grown and it rlly shows that it’s not the tool, but the person that makes these amazing vids happen crazy how you went from gacha animations to full on dramatic amvs now and oh wow, after effects as well haha also reading the desc, it’s also just mind blowing how much effort was also put into designing the characters and needing to do things like lighting (esp frame by frame holy cow) you’ve come so far and i’m just so proud of you your work will always excite me and others and we’ll be here t see the other phenomenal things you make thank you for all your hard work, this is just so immaculate absolute extravagant masterpiece, well done

OK LETS GOOOO Firstly, I must say how amazing that was honestly, I'm always amazed by the improvement in Kittypop's videos! Second of all, here's what I think that was happening: Pro tip: There's Lore in the description - There are some jellyfishes in the video. I think they may be representing Iris/Halo - 0:53 It looks like they got reunited, but not in the best way, as Mager is from the heros team, and I supose Halo is from the villians team. So, as KP says in the desc, Mager is trying to convince her to join the league. - But, in 1:30 , Lain and Donut appear to get him (cuz they're, well, villians, and Donut prob hated poor Mager) in 1:35 I think Halo tells him and Donut to stop figthing Mager, and then I think they go back to the lab? - In this place, there's this alien girl I forgot the name and she is holding this vaccine with Mager's name, probably something they already injected on him (in their lasts experiments) - MAYBE they captured Mager and then this alien girl injected this thing on him? Ive rewatched this WAY too many times- its such an amazing animation- The colors, the shadows, the art style, and the effort put into this is worth rewatching many times. It was probably very difficult to animate in this style especially because of all of the details. I dont watch many of you videos but ive seen a few older animations, and seeing this is amazing! The lighting and shading is also really epic!! It must have taken a very long time to do the shading for all the scenes. Also, the scenes that flash past are sick! The jellyfish is animated so realistically and it must have taken a lot of dedication to draw and animate it's stingers.
A lot of comments already say this, but I'll say it again. I really appreciate the amount of effort put into this video! You're a true inspiration for the rest of us! I'm not sure if I missed any points (I lost track of writing lmao), but I just say that you really deserve a lot of attention!! This is amazing and really eye opening. I'm guessing that from the lore so far, the test subjects are meant to forget their human lives but somehow it didn't affect Iris (Halo) and Mager gets trigger flashbacks everytime he sees her knowing that she abandoned the hero league. And with Mai's sedative, it just suppressed his powers. So Halo is probably upset in scene 1:51 that he's working in the government that tortures humans.
It always makes my heart flutter a little whenever I see former gacha creators, who's videos I watched as a kid, continue to grow as animators or storytellers. So glad that you're still going after so many years!❤
I love the concept of: the government creating heroes, which, in theory, was supposed to be a good thing, but they do it in the most villainous way possible, because they kidnap people, use them as guinea pigs (and the experiments that fail they are probably must "discard" = ☠) they must not be treated 100% well, and on top of that they lose their memory.
Now with that explanation you gave in the description, I understood the older videos (because of the battle between Kittypop and the pink bunny, for example)

I love how the characters interact with each other. Like, Donut trying to fight Mager when he's basically having a mental breakdown and Lain be like: "CALM DOWN", this isn't even the first time we see them interact this way, just hilarious. This is some really great world-building ngl.

after MANY TIMES of rewatching, i could finally understand some of what the characters were saying ! when mager was crying/yelling at halo, i could make out a "please" but nothing more. the camera shaking didn't help /nm. when donut got angry and pulled out her pole, she said "that son of a bitch" referring to mager. i have a hard time reading lips from side profiles, especially when characters are moving, but afterwards i believe she said "you won't get away" while trying to attack mager. also, no matter how many times i tried, lain made no sense to me, mainly because donut kept squeezing his face trying to get released from his grasp (though i'm assuming he said something like "no need to attack, he is too weak"). and finally, when mai showed up, she said "so it worked" referring to the shot she gave mager so his powers could be weakened
this was an incredible watch ! can't wait for more aninations and lore to come ❤

Your sheer skill and improvement is- I don’t even know if there are words to describe how amazing this is! It’s fully animated, colored, shaded for MULTIPLE SCENES with different lighting, the backgrounds are so detailed I could probably spend a paragraph analyzing them in their own, and the TRANSITIONS!! God, I can’t even imagine how long this took, it’s impressive and gorgeous and a wonderful form of storytelling :D

Kitty I’m so proud of you for all you’ve accomplished in your channel! Your attention to detail is astounding (as shown throughout the animation)! I would like to point out another thing or two that I’ve noticed!
(Sorry if I repeat anything)
- in the beginning, it seems that Mager has tried or did levitate Iris/Halo
- in the city scene, you can see all sorts of graphics of the heros (0:29) one showing Mager carrying someone and another of Gray(? Kind of unsure)
- at 1:35 Lain’s jacket is moving. He seems surprised so I’m assuming it’s Mai passing him as she’s invisible
- I love how the villains are comforting each other at the end. It could maybe give a reason why some heros might become villains (they might have felt alone and unappreciated as a hero)
- also, Lains ribbons remind me of the tentacles of a jellyfish
- maybe the sedative that Mai used reminds Mager of a jellyfish sting? As the jellyfish appears a lot as he’s trying to use his powers at the end
- I love how the villains are able to fight well together (Lain pulling Mager in so Donut can punch Mager)
- I wonder if Iris is able to make her victims relive parts of their past to weaken them (as soon as Mager starts getting flashbacks, he’s unable to really fight)

Despite the fact the injection worked and all…judging from the description, Mager never even wanted to attack Halo/Iris. He only tried to attack fully (despite the injection) when Lain’s ribbons started coming.

they add onto each scene, really giving that tense atmosphere from each scene, from the fights to the flashbacks, everything has so much detail and through how it’s all animated, even tho they don’t speak, the story could still be followed really easily
the lighting also adds such a nice touch as well, making the flashbacks feel so light and airy and also helping craft that tense atmosphere
everything just flows so smoothly from each second to the next too
you also synced the music and vibes together perfectly visually and story wise too

Mager actually had feelings to her and really likes her either way.

@@skitikistar1724 Mai potentially saying “It’s been done” to Hope/Iris at the end of the Music Video. Most likely to reference the fact she injected Mager with the serum she made for him to compromise his ability. It’s probably nothing important to the plot, but it’s a nice detail I noticed.
That’s just one of few I have, but I think that one’s probably my best theory so far and I think it’s the closest one maybe-??? Not sure, but I wanna hear what others think on this 🤍

Firstly, I must say how amazing that was honestly, I'm always amazed by the improvement in Kittypop's videos!
Second of all, here's what I think that was happening:
Pro tip: There's Lore in the description
- There are some jellyfishes in the video. I think they may be representing Iris/Halo
- 0:53 It looks like they got reunited, but not in the best way, as Mager is from the heros team, and I supose Halo is from the villians team. So, as KP says in the desc, Mager is trying to convince her to join the league.
- But, in 1:30 , Lain and Donut appear to get him (cuz they're, well, villians, and Donut prob hated poor Mager) in 1:35 I think Halo tells him and Donut to stop figthing Mager, and then I think they go back to the lab?
- In this place, there's this alien girl I forgot the name and she is holding this vaccine with Mager's name, probably something they already injected on him (in their lasts experiments)
- MAYBE they captured Mager and then this alien girl injected this thing on him? I'm not really sure, I'm still "studying" KPTlore-

Ive rewatched this WAY too many times- its such an amazing animation- The colors, the shadows, the art style, and the effort put into this is worth rewatching many times. It was probably very difficult to animate in this style especially because of all of the details. I dont watch many of you videos but ive seen a few older animations, and seeing this is amazing! Youve improved so much, keep up the good work!
