- What would happen if human experimentation took place?
A world whose peace is always on the line. The government develops an innovation that can significantly increase its defenses. Human experimentation, under confidential circumstances, creates a group of phenotypically altered beings, similar to humans, but with unique talents and characteristics, whose objective is to protect, guide and control the citizenry; the so-called heroes. But with the passage of time, beings very similar to them appear, but with criminal characteristics, who seek to unbalance the general well-being; villains, who violently interrupt events, and then hide in the shadows of the city.
To organize the timeline, let's divide the story into the following parts:
- Humans
- Disappearances
- Experimentation
- Training
- Day zero
- Cuts
- League of heroes
- The villains appear
It should be noted that by declaring an experiment (failed or accepted), the altered bodies are subjected to artificial amnesia, so they have no memories of their life as humans, and understand their reality as "biological creations in formation for a common good".
In this video, I picked up the story from a video I made in the past; Lavender honey meme ( • Honey Lavender meme [R... ). In that video, Iris is introduced for the first time. A girl Mager found in an uncrowded area of her apartment during the hero training phase. From her clothing, Mager assumed that she was a sick colleague receiving some treatment, so the situation was not questioned much. In general, the atmosphere inside the training area is cold, since everyone is immersed in their own development and usefulness. Meeting someone with such a "spark" was a vital experience in the construction of Mager's identity.
As part of his training schedule, he makes his way to meet her, who used to show up occasionally at the same place, then hastily leave. 0001, also known as Iris, was experimented to stop time for a few lapses. Until he disappeared from one second to another. The coldness with which soldiers are handled and treated impedes emotional development, which is extremely dangerous in the hands of bodies with such power. The disappearance of someone so precious completely collapsed Mager. This, among other catastrophic events that followed within the training departments, is known as Day Zero.
Jumping to the present, Mager is reunited with Iris, now called Halo. Who, besides being alive, refuses to set foot in the government. Mager tries to convince her to introduce her to the league, with some chance of being added to the system. To his surprise, she is cooperating with the enemy side, the villains.

As for the production of the video, I animated each scene separately in Flipaclip, then stitched them together, and edited everything in After Effects. I changed Halo's design a bit, for comfort and usefulness in the plot (I removed the cape that covered the left arm). As with the Willow Tree meme, I did about 50 sketches on paper, since it's more comfortable to illustrate there than directly on the tablet. From there I got the main ideas and did the illustration on my tablet. It was fun working on this, in general working on videos related to the story of my characters keeps me motivated throughout the process. Although it is quite exhausting. Scenes in the alley have lighting and shadows done frame by frame, although it’s the process that’s in all the animated scenes.

A couple things I noticed after watching a few times!
-The reason why Mager didn't attack (and looked so distraught) is because Mai's injection worked, seemingly after a few attempts considering it's called "Mager 9"
-There's constant jellyfish imagery throughout, especially around Iris
-Mager being unable to use his abilities seems to be triggering memories of Iris, which makes me think the injection messes with the mind more than the body
-The symbol in Halo's eye is a diamond most of the time but becomes an hourglass when she talks to Mager, then back to a diamond when she starts crying
-Halo is incredibly upset after the situation, possibly linked to why she's so against the government

Edit: after rewatching, I also wonder if it refers to the numbing feeling after you get stung by a jellyfish, which is an analogy to how the shot seems to work + affect Mager

It always makes my heart flutter a little whenever I see former gacha creators, who's videos I watched as a kid, continue to grow as animators or storytellers. So glad that you're still going after so many years!❤
Ok so after watching this for a few dozen times I finally calmed my nerves and took a closer look towards all the minor details and I just say that the amount of effort put into this is really astounding.
The animation is very fluid and it's not just the movements of the characters. The characters have complex designs yet their hair, eyes and clothes are very beautifully animated, and the expressions are extremely vivid. Also, the backgrounds are also moving alongside the characters which must be very complex to do. It's also amazing how you can animate the movements in such an expensive way (take the way Doughnut struggles against Lain's fabric, or the way Halo was dancing.)
The lighting and shading is also really epic!! It must have taken a very long time to do the shading for all the scenes. Also, the scenes that flash past are sick! The jellyfish is animated so realistically and it must have taken a lot of dedication to draw and animate it's stingers.
A lot of comments already say this, but I'll say it again. I really appreciate the amount of effort put into this video! You're a true inspiration for the rest of us! I'm not sure if I missed any points (I lost track of writing lmao), but I just say that you really deserve a lot of attention!! This is amazing and really eye opening. Thank you for making this wonderful piece of animation!!
(Ps: I didn't mention the editing/after effects because I don't have any experience so idk what to say, but it's also very well done!)
I'm guessing that from the lore so far, the test subjects are meant to forget their human lives but somehow it didn't affect Iris (Halo) and Mager gets trigger flashbacks everytime he sees her knowing that she abandoned the hero league. And with Mai's sedative, it just suppressed his powers. So Halo is probably upset in scene 1:51 that he's working in the government that tortures humans.
The art loooks so beautiful! I cannot wait to see the story and the characters being shown, and the animation will be amazing!
after MANY TIMES of rewatching, i could finally understand some of what the characters were saying ! when mager was crying/yelling at halo, i could make out a "please" but nothing more. the camera shaking didn't help /nm. when donut got angry and pulled out her pole, she said "that son of a bitch" referring to mager. i have a hard time reading lips from side profiles, especially when characters are moving, but afterwards i believe she said "you won't get away" while trying to attack mager. also, no matter how many times i tried, lain made no sense to me, mainly because donut kept squeezing his face trying to get released from his grasp (though i'm assuming he said something like "no need to attack, he is too weak"). and finally, when mai showed up, she said "so it worked" referring to the shot she gave mager so his powers could be weakened

I love how the characters interact with each other. Like, Donut trying to fight Mager when he's basically having a mental breakdown and Lain be like: "CALM DOWN", this isn't even the first time we see them interact this way, just hilarious. This is some really great world-building ngl.

I love the concept of: the government creating heroes, which, in theory, was supposed to be a good thing, but they do it in the most villainous way possible, because they kidnap people, use them as guinea pigs (and the experiments that fail they are probably must "discard" = ☠) they must not be treated 100% well, and on top of that they lose their memory.
Now with that explanation you gave in the description, I understood the older videos (because of the battle between Kittypop and the pink bunny, for example)

The Video kinda explains it all..From On The Past, Mager actually had a bit Interaction and recognize who the girl is, Someone that he really cares about.
Back on the Sort of Laboratorium location,It's a certain Mysterious Place where they both met with each other and Talk things out.
They both developed more and more Interaction Between them and might even liking each others Companies!!, This, Making Kitty(The Blue Cat) and Rose(The Pink Bunny) sort of sensing something between the two,Therefore,They teases this whole Crushing thing to Mager.
Mager actually had feelings to her and really likes her either way.

@@skitikistar1724 Mai potentially saying “It’s been done” to Hope/Iris at the end of the Music Video. Most likely to reference the fact she injected Mager with the serum she made for him to compromise his ability. It’s probably nothing important to the plot, but it’s a nice detail I noticed.
That’s just one of few I have, but I think that one’s probably my best theory so far and I think it’s the closest one maybe-??? Not sure, but I wanna hear what others think on this 🤍

Firstly, I must say how amazing that was honestly, I'm always amazed by the improvement in Kittypop's videos!
Second of all, here's what I think that was happening:
Pro tip: There's Lore in the description
- There are some jellyfishes in the video. I think they may be representing Iris/Halo
- 0:53 It looks like they got reunited, but not in the best way, as Mager is from the heros team, and I supose Halo is from the villians team. So, as KP says in the desc, Mager is trying to convince her to join the league.
- But, in 1:30 , Lain and Donut appear to get him (cuz they're, well, villians, and Donut prob hated poor Mager) in 1:35 I think Halo tells him and Donut to stop figthing Mager, and then I think they go back to the lab?
- In this place, there's this alien girl I forgot the name and she is holding this vaccine with Mager's name, probably something they already injected on him (in their lasts experiments)
- MAYBE they captured Mager and then this alien girl injected this thing on him? I'm not really sure, I'm still "studying" KPTlore-

Despite the fact the injection worked and all…judging from the description, Mager never even wanted to attack Halo/Iris. He only tried to attack fully (despite the injection) when Lain’s ribbons started coming.

(Sorry if I repeat anything)
- in the beginning, it seems that Mager has tried or did levitate Iris/Halo
- in the city scene, you can see all sorts of graphics of the heros (0:29) one showing Mager carrying someone and another of Gray(? Kind of unsure)
- at 1:35 Lain’s jacket is moving. He seems surprised so I’m assuming it’s Mai passing him as she’s invisible
- I love how the villains are comforting each other at the end. It could maybe give a reason why some heros might become villains (they might have felt alone and unappreciated as a hero)
- also, Lains ribbons remind me of the tentacles of a jellyfish
- maybe the sedative that Mai used reminds Mager of a jellyfish sting? As the jellyfish appears a lot as he’s trying to use his powers at the end
- I love how the villains are able to fight well together (Lain pulling Mager in so Donut can punch Mager)
- I wonder if Iris is able to make her victims relive parts of their past to weaken them (as soon as Mager starts getting flashbacks, he’s unable to really fight)
I’ve watched this video so many times! You really inspire me! I’m making more art and I’ve animated something for the first time in months! You’re such a talented person and I pray that God blesses you in your art journey!

every single second has so SO much detail put into each scene
the animation, expressions and body language of each of oc really being them all to life and make them so unique from eachother
they add onto each scene, really giving that tense atmosphere from each scene, from the fights to the flashbacks, everything has so much detail and through how it’s all animated, even tho they don’t speak, the story could still be followed really easily
the lighting also adds such a nice touch as well, making the flashbacks feel so light and airy and also helping craft that tense atmosphere
everything just flows so smoothly from each second to the next too
you also synced the music and vibes together perfectly visually and story wise too
also the EFFORT AND IMPROVEMENT ASJDKSJ

Les couleurs sont d'une beauté sans égale ?! Tes proportions et ton aisance au dessin te permets de faire énormément de choses. Et ton plus grand talent pour moi, est que tu sais parfaitement puisé dans ces ressources pour nous sortir des vidéos d'une beauté magnifique.
Sérieusement je ne sais même plus comment te dire que c'est beau tant tu excel. Tu es incroyable !!! La vidéo est parfaite ! Tu as une aisance incroyable ! J'aime tellement.. j'ai vu la vidéo des milliers de fois !
Ça va sûrement paraître exagéré.. mais je suis tellement contente de voir tes vidéos, tes progrès, tout ce que tu fais que je suis touchée au point de verser ma petite larme. Je pense que c'est surtout car je suis extrêmement attaché à ton travail. Après tout... J'ai vraiment commencé à dessiner et me dire de travailler l'animation grâce à toi !
Je me dis qu'au final.. tu es capable de réunir des milliers de gens par tes vidéos alors même qu'ils n'ont pas forcément la même langue, la même façon de penser et qu'ils sont tous différents, juste par ce que tu arrives à les réunir par ton travail. C'est génial en fait !
Bref je m'égare encore pardon..
Mais sinon ce que tu fais donne vraiment envie de te soutenir. Depuis le temps que j'attendais de voir le rendu ! Je ne suis pas déçu !! Chaque image est incroyable. De loin ma vidéo préférée de ta chaîne après celles de la présentation du gachatube.
Tu mérites amplement une communauté aussi belle. Tous ceux qui viendront dire le contraire seront à mes yeux injustes. Il n'y a cas voir comme un seul dessin est long et pénible à faire. Une animation est encore plus dure. J'en viens souvent à me demander comment tu fais pour avoir une vie à côté ? Enfin bref !!!
Vraiment un très grand bravo pour ta vidéo. Ton travail en valait la peine ! Tu es vraiment incroyable, je te remercierai jamais assez pour la joie que tu nous apportes, et ce même si on à déjà dû te le dire, ou si ça paraît cliché... Par ce que je le pense juste. Incredible! As someone who has started animating, you have always been a huge inspiration to me! It’s crazy to think that this started off with simple gacha animations and turned into full blown fight scenes. I just need someone to explain the lore to me now >_

Honestly, I am a bit confused. (about Mager)
The "Mager:9" is supposed to mean it is the 9th attempt. Was he injected 9 different times? If so, why would he let himself be injected that many times? (I do not mean voluntarily, but letting himself fall for it.)
Anyway, he met up with Halo to convince her to join his side and then got himself injected again. I am sure he would know the effects on what the injections did. (his memories turning blurry, his powers weakening)
The more I think about it, the more I felt like I was a bit stupid to comprehend what Mager did, in my previous comment. I *do* think Mager is pitiful but he's foolish and naive, that it makes it hard to like him. I am sure there were other ways of convincing her but instead he went defenseless. He was basically asking for it. (kinda)
And now, he lost his Memories of Halo... I think. (which I assume is done just so Mager will stop pursuing Halo. Maybe it was a hindrance. If not, then idk what other reason to do this) and his powers suppressed. (either Forever, or a long time. Something like Kai from Ninjago. Yes, I watched it.)
Edit 1: Actually, the memory thing could've just been a side effect of the injection and wasn't actually used for that kind of purpose...but I like to think it was intentional. :))
